I currently have a Coleman Mach Model AR7815 and would like to upgrade to a digital but not sure which one so I thought I would ask from those who have done it and get your thoughts. Please indicate the make and model you have. Thanks Ed

RE: What do you think about this set up?

Some additional info on the truck: Truck has Extended Cab with 6.6 bed 81000 miles and just had Tranny fluid change and filter changed too. Truck is in Excellent Condition. It does have the 6 speed Tranny with the Tow/Haul feature with the grade braking system. Last week I can down the famous GRAPEVINE at 50 MPH towing my Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S and never once touched the brakes because I was in Tow/Haul mode with cruise set at 50 MPH.

What do you think about this set up?

I have a 2013 Chevy with the 5.3 eng and trailer package with a towing capacity with the 3.42 rear at 9800 lbs. Thinking of going to a larger trailer that is 29 ft and dry wt of 6600 lbs.I travel light and just me and the bride and one cat. I know things add up but I think or feel this is doable. That are your thoughts? Thanks Ed. I do not need to be the first one over the hill and would be staying here in California.

Lessons Learned From RV Cover Erection

Seriously considering having a metal cover build for my trailer and I have read some of the comments about what you might have done differently. So just to refresh my CRS memory, I would appreciate it if there are any thoughts and new experiences .Thanks ED

Help with Suburban Hot Water Heater.

I have a 2020 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S. This past week went to the Sierra's at an elevation of about 6500 ft. The Hot Water heater would not work on propane and I tried everything. Finally had to use the electric side and had hot water. Looked at the manual and it states that the propane will only work at 4500 ft or lower and I would have to have it derated. Has anyone done this and if so how do you do it? The older style had a adjustment at the tube but this one does not. As soon as I got home to an elevation of 1500 ft I tried the hot water heater and she fired up in a second. So I need some help. Thanks Ed Also, the oven would not lite. all the burners worked, the heater worked and I just had the tanks filled with propane. Are these related? model on hot water heater is SW6DELC don't have one for the stove.

What Size Telescoping Ladder

I have a tt that has a height of 10 ft and I AM looking for a telescoping ladder. My trailer does have a ladder but I want to mount a Pathway Satellite Antenna on the existing ladder and I thought it would be easier to have the additional ladder for this application. I would like to know how tall I should get based on others experiences. Thanks Ed

RE: How to remove tail light from 2020. Rock wood mini lite

I had forgotten all the fuses under the battery box cover. I looked at the fuses on the dash but not the ones under the box cover. Reading the OWNERS MANUAL was helpful in reminding me of the other fuses. Again, thanks for all your help. Ed

RE: How to remove tail light from 2020. Rock wood mini lite

Thanks for all. The responses, I have not repaired the. Light yet. Cleaned the plug on trailer and truck and still no worked. If the blinker works on the truck wouldn’t that eliminate the truck. I plan to use some emery paper as my next method to repair the light.

How to remove tail light from 2020. Rock wood mini lite

I have a 2020 Rochwood mini lite and the right turn signal does not flash. All other functions work on both sides of the trailer. Can not figure out how to remove the lens so I can replace bulb. The tail light has caluking around it and there is a small black thing on the bottom of the light. I am not sure how to get this puppy off so I can replace the bulb.Ed

RE: What do you do with cat at Campgrounds

Thanks for all the great info. The cat that we have now really adopted us. We were at a campground in the mountains here in California and when we pulled in there were two cats running around and as soon as we got set up, there they were at the campsite. Since we are cat lovers and had recently lost the last of 4 we were glad for the company. Well, naturally I had to go out and purchase cat food and made sure they had something to eat and clean water to drink. Anyway, the one would jump up on our laps and go to sleep and the other would always stay at a distance, but would come at night for food. I made a bed for them on our recliners and each night that were they would be. During the day the both of them would roam the CG and then come to us while we had our coffee. Again, the one we brought home would stay all day with us and the other would remain at a distance. My wife and I kept talking about taking them both home, but then we were not sure how to do it since we had no carrier, so I ask the CG Host if they belonged to anyone and she said no and then I told her we were thinking of taking the Black and White one and she said she thought she could come up with a carrier and she did and when she brought it to the site and put it on the table the cat just jumped up entered the carrier and went to sleep until 3 hours latter when we got home. Took the cat to the vetshad him fixed and had chip implanted and everything is fine. The vet said the cat is about 12-18 months old and great personality. So we would like to take him with us from time to time, but not sure how--hense all the questions. I saw these and still trying to decide. Anyway just some background and we did try to get his buddie but could never catch him. carrier

What do you do with cat at Campgrounds

I am wondering what you do with cat once you arrive at campground. I have been looking at those portable cages etc. also I like the leash idea. I would not want to walk the cat around the campground but would like to have him outside during the day. Looking for ideas. Thanks Ed

RE: Traveling in 23 ft trailer with cat

I have a Chevy Extended Cab and I am wondering what to do with a litter box. Not sure if I need one or not but otherwise he would make a mess in his carrier. I have seen those carriers that have the litter box on the bottom but looking for input on suggestions. Thanks Ed
