RE: Roof coatings.

Anyone familiar with RV Armor, Flex Armor Gaco or other liquid roof coating? I suffered some damage to my roof and am being told I need a whole new roof. It's only 4 years old but I understand a dealer service shop needs to cover their butts if they are going to guarantee a new repair installation. Is the liquid roof stuff a good option? It's almost half the cost of a new TPO or EDPM membrane. Any insight here? This is what I put on my 5th wheel. IMHO nothing better. FlexArmor

RE: Tampa, FL to Birmingham, AL - Sightseeing... What to do?

Pine Mountain GA is a good place to visit. It's a little early for Callaway Gardens but a nice place to see. The Little White House is in the area also. If you like old homes you can go into La Grange and see Hills and Dales Estate. If in La Grange you have to eat at Taste of Lemon.

RE: Tampa, FL to Birmingham, AL - Sightseeing... What to do?

Need recommendations, please... My wife, 2 daughters (ages 16 & 12) and I are traveling (truck & 5th wheel) this week from Tampa to Birmingham. We have some time to do a little sightseeing along the way (to or from). We are always going to the beach, so something different would be good. Thinking something in Georgia, Alabama or mid-southern Tennessee (Chattanooga). Any recommendations on something fun the family would enjoy seeing or doing? Thought about Atlanta/Stone Mountain/Aquarium, Calaway Gardens, Lookout Mountain, any other thoughts??? Thanks, Tom & Jen When are you planning this trip?

RE: Adding Dishwasher, anyone has this done?

I put a Vesta in the North Point. We really like it. Also very nice having a place to put the dirty dishes out of the way. https://i.imgur.com/hdhq6yol.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Jmo1kANl.jpg

RE: 5th wheel hitches

We are about to buy a newer truck. It will be a 2017 F350. We'll be pulling a Solitude which weighs about 12,650 lbs. empty. What hitch would you recommend for that setup? I would recommend the BD5

RE: RV satellite

I did not have good luck with the playmaker. I have a pathway and it has worked very well.

RE: Best wax for lazy people?

So does ALL the wax have to be hand spray pumped on and ragged off? ...remember the 'lazy' tag in the OP? The Wash-N-Wax will make it look good. For real purdy you will have to spray pumped on and ragged off.

RE: Best wax for lazy people?

So if you were lazy and dreading washing and waxing your 32' fiberglass siding TT, what would be the fastest most bestest way to get it looking real purdy? No way am I gonna old school Mr. Miyagi style the wax. Thanks:) Wash https://i.imgur.com/uPPCE4bl.jpg Wax https://i.imgur.com/J3YJ5Wul.jpg Purdy https://i.imgur.com/2aOPK3wl.jpg

RE: 50amp power protector

Power Watchdog with Auto Shutoff Hughes has come out with a new Power Watchdog With Auto Shutoff that appears to be worth a look. The Portable one can give you the best of both worlds. Easy to install for people scared of putting in a hardware unit and the ability to see voltage amps and faults on your phone. Also Progressve Industries EMS Surge Guard

RE: 5th wheel hitches

The B&W is a great hitch, I used one for 11 years and loved it. But IMHO with a big trailer you can't beat the TrailerSaver Air Ride Hitch. If you plan on putting a lot of miles on it you really should consider one.
