RE: roof coatings....again.

Intresting, they went right over the lunan with it.
On mine they replaced the luan before the TPO was installed, then the multi-layer coating.
BTW , the process comes with lifetime parts and labor warrantee against leaks or failure.

RE: roof coatings....again.

I had RV Armor do my roof last November. I my TPO had failed. Shredding and leaking many places.
So they tore off the TPO and replaced, one sheet of luan had to be replaced.
So mine was an extra $3000.
I’m not concerned about the slide roofs. They have slide toppers and spend most their time inside and out of the weather.

RE: Dr Doug Question

Our beloved Standard Poodle boy had irritable bowels for much of his life. Fine for a week or so then a week of explosive diarrhea. A heaping TBS of pumpkin leveled things quite a bit. Fewer episodes.

Pathway X2. Only one that lets you choose East or West sats.

RE: Satellite Newbie looking for advice

There is no carry out auto align dome for Directv HD. Several for DISH.
I chose Pathway X2 from Winegard. It can find either western or Easter arc so more options if trees etc interfere. You can call and change zips for locals daily if you like. Directv did not allow that.

RE: weak Cell Signal

My Weboost RV works great. My speed test went from 1-2 MB/s to 12-15 MB/s just this week.

RE: Freightliner chassis

I’ve had a FL chassis new since 2005. Great service, great support.
So no chassis mfr make all of the components. The trans is Allison, the engine is CAT or Cummins, airbags, rear end ,brakes, filters, air systems are all sourced from third parties.
FL makes different levels of chassis. Entry level is solid front axle, drum brakes, etc to high end independent front suspension with disc brakes and big engines.
The FL factory service center in Gaffney SC is a joy to deal with and I won’t use anyone else if I can get there
I’m not a huge fan of your local semi truck centric Freightliner service centers. They are competent but a tad expensive and not thorough.
Buy with confidence.

RE: WHAT dinghy or toad is good to tow ???

Three Honda’s; two Elements and a CRV. Two Jeeps, a CJ and a newer Wrangler.
I’ll stick with Honda’s as long as I can.
We drive around a LOT at our destination. The Jeeps beat you up on pot holed, rougher road. MPG is poor. Both mine were soft tops; fun but no security as far as going shopping and leaving stuff in the vehicle.

RE: Options for directv satalites

Your terminology might be ambiguous.
The receiver is the box inside your domicile that connects to your tv.
The antenna or sar dish is the device that receives the signal from space.
These can be on a tripod and use the one lint at your house. Those can be DISH or Directv and get HD channels.
If you want a auto seek carry out dome that gets HD , there are none for Directv.
For DISH you can get a carryout auto dome that gets HD. I use a Winegard Pathway X2. Gets Eastern or western arc.

RE: Wi-Fi Booster and Range Extender??

Poor, slow wifi is the norm these days. A booster won’t improve a poor network.
I have pretty much given up on good wifi and went with a Weboost cell booster.
I have iPhones on Verizon with umlimited data we turn into a hotspot AND I bought an ATT based hotspot data only puck which I turn on a month at a time if Verizon doesn’t fill the bill.
This works good enough to stream HD content.

I clean my cast iron with a chain mail scrubber. Amazon. It works really well. No soap on the cooking surface. Dawn on the outside.

RE: Are RV sewer hose supports necessary?

I carry one. We half time. I use one occasionally for a reason I haven’t read yet and why I bought one.
We camped at a campground And the dirt around the pad was red clay. After a week of on and off rain the sewer hose was coated with red clay. A real dog to clean off.
So I bought a support to use when it’s a muddy site.

RE: Need some help with equipment to boost internet

I used Weboost five months last year. My experience was very positive. I quit using a dB signal strength app and switched to speed test sites. I Found that Weboost increased data rates almost always. Dramatically many times. .5/1 MBs to 5-10 MBs.
I routinely stream with Appletv, Hulu and Netflix.

RE: Painfully slow internet

I’ve given up on campground wifi.
I bought a Weboost RV cell amp and antenna. $500 and worth every penny. Between Verizon iPhones and an ATT based wifi puck we easily stream Hulu and Netflix. I have been in areas with no bars and get streaming speeds with the Weboost.

RE: Howdy. New Owner With Questions Not Found in the Manuals.

We had a wine cooler. We used it to store bottled water. We replaced it with a 2’ cubic foot fridge/freezer which can be adjusted to be a fridge OR a freezer.
