RE: Question about PC's..

Check out the Microsoft Surface Pro- personally, I hate Ms and Windows but my sister swears by it.

RE: Problems with Apple Mac Book Pro

You know, joining a non-computer forum and in your first post, posting a link that even you think is a virus... Sheesh... Anyway, what he said, Apple store.

RE: Norcold 1200 - Thermistor temps wrong until power cycled

I’d check the solder joints where the thermistor plugs into the board- could be cracked. Shot in the dark.

RE: Duo Therm 65900-001 sparking but not lighting?

That’s an old furnace, most likely needs cleaning. If it is sparking the sail and limit switches are good.

RE: Towing a vintage car?

Add me to the trailer recognition.

RE: Winegard Wingman

My take- if the antenna is 10 years old, replace the head with the wingman equipped Sensar IV- not a whole lot more than adding a wingman, but you get all new electronics.

RE: Batwing Water Leak

If it’s on the 2009, I would go ahead and replace the worm gear and elevating gear- worm gear comes with new quad o rings and wave washers. Well under $20.

RE: Atwood 7916 intermittent lighting

I would start by cleaning, checking burner, electrodes and orifice.

RE: Different Sparker Types Question

The electrodes are just a wire in the fire electrically, the difference being position.

RE: Different Sparker Types Question

The older boards used a separate flame sense electrode, also known as remote sensing. Now they sense the flame through the spark gap, aka local sensing. You can sub a local sense board for remote, but not vice versa.

RE: Thermostats

The easiest way would be just install a new, separate thermostat for the furnace, running new the stat wires from the furnace itself. Keep the Comfort Control for the air conditioner.

RE: Converter Panel "Latch"

I have literally installed hundreds with a hammer- never broke one.

RE: Converter Panel "Latch"

Latch Here is what your looking for. They are off the charts expensive so be careful when installing. for whatever reason they mold the catch and lock together separating and mating the 2 together can be where the frustration begins The shorter one pictured is for the converter, the longer is plastic reefer vent. I honestly never had a problem installing- orient it correctly, slip it into the hole, and whack the center part with a hammer, which will seat it correctly.

RE: You may have shocks but are they mounted right.

I’ll point out that there are shocks meant to be installed horizontally, though tases obviously are not, but the lack of travel is inexcusable- it should never bottom out on the shock.

RE: And the smokey glass stove cover is no more

Spend the hundred bucks for the whole stovetop- that’s not really bad.

RE: Have no electrical power and no propane on one side of coach

Salesman Switch COMMON nomenclature used by MANY folks Some folks just love to appear superior by denigrating others In the 45 years I have been an RVer, along with 27 working in the industry, this forum is the only place I have encountered that term. Just sayin’.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck

Apologies if this has been said, but a couple of points about the cybertruck- at a base of just under $40k, it will be the cheapest available. The reason for the cheap price? Assembly uses no stamping presses or paint booths- the body is laser cut and folded, the stainless alloy being to hard to stamp..

RE: Wiring Diagram

More info would help, but if it’s a 3 way model it may be wired directly to the battery (through a fuse, of course).
