RE: Need Advice on Best Brand for Front Living w/ Loft

I'm in a similar situation. We have two children and currently are waiting for the twins. I agree that Montana is one of the most popular brands, but having surfed the Internet, I started thinking about buying the 2018 Keystone Cougar 367FLS. I have already taken the additional projects at work to earn extra money (fortunately, the guys from agreed to help me). Its price is about $50k that is reasonable for a fifth-wheel RV with a front living room. I should say, it is supposed to have enough space for a big family. Maybe this info will be useful for you, if you haven't made the purchase, of course.

RE: loss of spouse

It's always sad to read such stories. I'm sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine how hard it is. When my father died, my mom was upset and depressed all the time. I thought she would never feel better. But time passed and after several years she finally was ready for new relationships. So, she is a user of the seniorstodate sites. And I'm glad she realized that life goes on.

RE: Real life Hybrid towing experiences

Toyota RAV4. It can haul 1,650kg in all-wheel-drive hybrid form. My brother bought it as an off-lease car at DM Auto Leasing (you can find out more here if interested). The condition was great and the price was reasonable. I don't see any reason why hybrid could be a problem. Such cars are economic and are currently the best choice for those looking for an alternative-fuel vehicle for towing.

RE: Kiefer Horse Trailer - Awning issue

Have you solved the problem? I also faced it and didn't find the solution. Finally, I bought a new awning. I should say, a review on helped me to make the right choice. It includes the pros and cons of the most popular brands and models. Maybe this source will be useful for someone else.

RE: Ford as a tow vehicle

Have you looked into mods? There might be some info about it in the manual. In case you don't have it (I personally faced this issue), I can recommend checking It is possible to read the manuals right on the site and download them as PDF files. Hope it helps!

RE: First Time RV Buyer

We bought our 2011 Forest River Sierra 340RL Fifth Wheel RV Camper last year. It was 9 years old but the condition was great. Also, I checked the info about it online using the VIN number on I should say, it was very convenient as I could check the history, damages, finance owing, written off records, stolen vehicle check, and rego information.

RE: Streaming Amazon videos?

You do not have to use Alexa. Also, you don't have to buy anything else with Alexa to use the Alexa on the Firestick. They both work just fine with the remote to navigate to what you want to watch. I personally find the official firestick remote app to be helpful (you can check to see the full list). It lets me use my mobile as a remote controller if my physical remote is not working for any reason or in case I have lost my remote and can’t find it anywhere.

RE: Docking station with USB C

I faced the same issue when I bought a new laptop and needed to transfer some programs and data from my old desktop. I was working on one urgent project with the guys from, so I surfed the Internet and found out that the new dock would not damage my old USB A port, and the only way out was to use the adaptor. Fortunately, my friend had it and I could finish my work in time.

RE: CBD oil

I know that CBD products can be very beneficial for your furry friends. We give a GoldBee CBD oil to our dog to calm her when we are going somewhere (she doesn't like traveling much and often feels sick). Also, it worked great to relieve pain and increase her appetite after the surgery.

RE: CPAP and CBD oil

Honestly speaking, I was suspicious about CBD at first. But later I changed my opinion. My wife started suffering from insomnia. She was prescribed pills but having checked the info about them on the Canadian pharmacy site, we found out that this medication has many side effects. That's why my wife decided to try CBD products. I should say, they work for her. I even tried CBD gummies for pain relief and was surprised by the effect.

RE: Need a new vacuum cleaner

We bought a Kalorik water filtration canister vacuum cleaner as a cheaper option of the rainbow vacuum cleaner. We are very pleased with the performance. It has a lot of suction power and the water filter picks up a lot of dust, hair, and other particles that might be in the carpet/floor. Also, it has to be noted, if you own a dog, this is the vacuum cleaner you wanna buy. By the way, I addressed the kalorik customer service. It turned out to work great, the representatives were professional and polite (in my opinion, it is important).

RE: Propane Delivery to RV

I'm not located in your region, but contacting the local office of Amerigas or Ferrellgas might be useful. These organizations all do propane delivery to home and business permanent tanks. I can't see much difference between them filling a tank at somebody's home and filling a tank on an RV or a larger tank at an RV site. I could be wrong, but just a thought. Sorry for bumping the thread, but I want to say that I had a great experience with Amerigas. The situation wasn't similar to one the OP's friends were, but when I needed propane for my RV, I addressed the AmericanGas customer service. They provided excellent service and delivered the propane fast.

RE: Tires

Well, industry advice is to change motorhome tires every 6 years. After this age, the rubber is less malleable, with a higher risk of tire sidewall/cracking and blowouts. And I follow it. Having worked on one project with the guys from, I read a lot of information about tires, including other people's opinions and feedback. Of course, the best brands are Goodyear, Bridgestone, and Michelin. Though I bought Maxxis M8008 ST tires two years ago. They are great and I'm please with the purchase. As for the Chinese tires, yes, most people don't trust them, but you know, the Chinese products might be of different quality.

RE: Sirius XM Radio

Do you guys still listen to serius xm? After the renewal of their service, I started experiencing issues. When I get in my car it says no signal. I called them several times, but nothing changed. Also, I read the sirius xm radio reviews. It turned out that I'm not alone and that a lot of people cancel their contracts. What about you? And can you suggest a good alternative? Thanks in advance.

RE: Meds on the road.

We faced this issue. My wife needs to take meds that should be stored in the refrigerator. When we were going to travel for a long period of time, her doctor kindly agreed to give her a prescription to a bigger dose than usual. So, my wife ordered her meds, I also decided to Buy rybelsus and insulin in advance. We bought a little insulated travel cooler, packed our meds and an ice pack, and extra zip lock bags for ice there. By the way, if you are going to travel by plane, it may also be useful to include the box or container your medication arrives in with your name and prescription information in case the TSA requests to see it.

RE: Yep....Gettin' older

I replaced two hearing aids that I got through the VA. My friend suggested me visiting another hearing aids audiology center. He was very satisfied after addressing it as he was helped to choose a good hearing aid at an affordable price. So, I visited that clinic, was examined there, and bought a Signia Silk NX 3 hearing aid. Finally, I feel comfortable with the device. In my opinion, it is better to pay more for the visit, but be examined in a proper way and finally have the most suitable hearing aid.

RE: Bit of a health care rant

I don't understand why there is a problem. Maybe my situation is unique. I go to a one man practice. appointments are never more than two days out. Every 8 weeks he writes lab orders for A1C and a couple of other things. I go to the blood draw station,no appointment needed, first come first serve. They do the work and my doctor calls me at home, usually Sunday afternoon with my results and any follow up recommendations he has. Perhaps you need to find a small practitioner and get away from corporate medicine. Having read this discussion, I understood that I'm also a happy person like you. I have t2d (I'm currently ordering rybelsus online, so no problem with medications), go to one doctor, no issues at all. I do tests regularly. I agree that a small practitioner is better.

RE: Great Movie

I can't name only one film, but I'll try to create a list of the best ones: The Hobbit trilogy The Lord of the Rings trilogy Harry Potter (all parts) Interstellar Bridge of Spies Sully The Blind Side The Nice Guys Green Book Also, I love Christmas movies like The Family Man, Four Christmases, Love the Coopers, Fred Claus, New Year's Eve, Miracle on 34th Street, and Daddy's Home (both parts). I know that many forum members use Firestick devices. We also have it. And I'm pleased with a variety of apps and Kodi builds. But I noticed that people talk about Firestick jailbreak. Thus they have free access to all their favorite movies, shows, live TV channels, sports, etc. Did anyone jailbreak Firestick? Is it worth trying?

RE: New Furniture

We bought a pair of the Ashley Tambo rocker recliner and are happy with them (I should say, a review by link helped us a lot). First of all, they are good for tall people. Also, they fully recline to a flat position, which is important. As for the material, the faux leather upholstery is spill-resistant and wipes up easily with a damp rag.

RE: The price of new trucks is beyond comprehension!

Great thread! Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm thinking about buying another truck. A new one is expensive, and having used a loan payments calculator, I found out that I'd repay such a loan in five years. So, I'm not sure that a new one is better than a used one, but in a good condition. And I do understand that I would never sell a truck at the same price as I bought.
