RE: Why we head back south before November

It's Canada. Last snowstorm of the winter on June 30. First snowstorm of the winter on July 1.

RE: Accidentally winterized the water heater

The bypass is so that you don't put 8 gallons of antifreeze into the tank when you dont have to.

RE: Another Mile, Another Day

We try to divide the trip into 2-hour stretches. DW starts in the morning because she's more up and awake and I'm better at navigating. Usually we aim for 4 stretches, but often only do 3 (she gets more driving!) We try to be in the campground before 4:00; definitely before 5:00. We managed New York to Toronto in one day last fall.

RE: Converting table to bed

Is there a couch opposite the table? Ours pulls out to make a bes all the way across (with lots of seams).

RE: Disney world in July

It wasn't asked but FW is the only place on the Disney property that you can stay in with your pets. But you might be cautious about leaving them in the MH in July. On a scale of 1-10, I rate FW a 12-12-12.

RE: Why do I still look at my tankl level gauges?

Our grey tank gauge seems to be reasonably accurate. I dump both tanks at the same time. Only worry is if someone has been over-zealous dumping dishwater down the toilet. On the last trip we were more worried about the readings on the propane tank. How does that work when it starts off only 80% full?
