RE: New dog!

It's our third dog this one's a rescue we're keeping her. Yes, I have a Toy Hauler it's not my first rodeo with a dog and a Toy Hauler, but this dog is nuts over squirrels. The use for the baby gate would be for the RV small door. This dog is two years old sixty pounds Pit mix Lab, German Shepherd.

You can lead a donkey to water but it's still a jackass once it arrives

Yep. When’s your next trip? We’re headed to SLO tomorrow for a conference at Cal Poly. Not too exciting. Right on good for you. Heading out to Trona area on the 18th

RE: Trailer King Tires

I'll just add my 2 cents Your stock trailer tires are fine. I always run max PSI that's listed on the tire. As stated, fill them when you haven't been on the road. I carry two spares. I've had all sorts of different tire blow outs using different brands, so it just happens. Some people go years without any tire problems. I've had them blow going slow and fast loaded and unloaded. It's odd I've never have had a flat off roading on some terrible dirt and rocky roads too.

RE: Time to ride

The dirt roads were still in pretty good condition. The two dry lakes weren't dry. A bit chilly it got down to 23 degrees at night. Riding conditions were outstanding. We weren't too far away (Dirt Diggers Camp) and the trails were perfect. Not a speck of dust. We'll be at Teagle Wash next weekend. We plan to be closer to Cal City this coming weekend, might actually be in Cal City or right on the edge of it off of Randsburg Road. I'd don't plan on doing a lot of riding, like our last 2 trips when we were with friends; this is going to be a more relaxing type of camping/riding trip with my bride. Weather is looking good for this coming weekend. Thier's a bunch of areas to camp not far from Ransburg https://www.google.com/maps/place/35%C2%B016'29.2%22N+117%C2%B035'30.8%22W/@35.2747778,-117.5938786,587m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x0:0x360f830d9f813fdd!2zMzXCsDE2JzI5LjIiTiAxMTfCsDM1JzMwLjgiVw!3b1!8m2!3d35.274782!4d-117.591887!3m4!1s0x0:0x360f830d9f813fdd!8m2!3d35.274782!4d-117.591887

Too bad the observatory is closed but it should be a good trip regardless. https://www.chapmoto.com/blog/2017/02/03/weekend-adventure-california-city-and-surrounding-ohv-areas/

RE: Barker sewage tank mounted

Gray is 26 gal. Black is 21. So 45 gallon made the most sense but I could not handle it myself. It'll take a while to fill up your black tank. How long do you usually stay out camping?
