RE: Replacement for Onan 4000

Double Dose your fuel with Stabil, and you should never have a problem, as long as you run it every 2 to 3 months. I have been doing this for 11 years with my 4000.

RE: 2020 IKE raw and unedited

An intercooler uses water to cool the charge air. Not True!!!!!!!! There are 2 types. An air to air intercooler is an intercooler that uses air to cool air. Meaning the exchange of heat that occurs is between the air that you have charged in your charge pipes and the air that is flowing through the intercooler. Air to Air intercoolers are only as efficient as the ambient airflow (air temperature outside) that they see. Placement of these types of intercoolers is therefore very important in the efficiency of this type of intercooler. A Water to Air Intercooler is one where the exchange of heat occurs between water and air. Water is pumped through the intercooler so that the heat from your charge pipes is transferred to the water. This type of set-up can be mounted anywhere, and just needs to have water plumbed to it. Because of its requirement for the flow of water, this type of intercooler requires a water pump, a reservoir, and a heat exchanger for the water mounted somewhere that will receive good airflow.

RE: Portable Generator Insurance?

I have an Inland Marine Policy thru State Farm. It costs me $78.00 per year, and covers any tools, or materials in my truck up to $5,000.00 with a $100.00 deductible. It is also replacement cost of item. I had my laptop stolen out of my truck. It was mounted on a Ram Mount and was used for Invoicing. I paid $800.00 or $900.00 for it when new, and State Farm ended up sending me $1,300.00 because that is what the closest spec HP laptop cost to replace the stolen one.

RE: Portable Generator Insurance?

Get an Inland Marine Policy, and say it is for work use.
