RE: Few parts needed

For parts in canada I've heard that these guys are pretty good. Personally I've never used them as I usually order from amazon or a US source.

RE: Few parts needed

Google SAE-AP2-99. Apparently that lens has been discontinued but many others are listed as a substitution.

RE: Decal removal replacement

The only problem with replacing decals, is that down the road the new ones will fade and crack and you'll have to do it all over again. And the gelcoat will dull and chalk all over again. Painting the RV is a much better solution. I know that's what I would do.

RE: Field tricks to remove inside dually wheel?

I carry a lot of tools with me including an 8 pound sledgehammer. I put a block of wood across the wheel so it straddled the top of the rim and clobbered it with the sledge. It took a few tries but I eventually dislodged it. Gotta be careful not to hit the rim directly. I rotated the wheel between hits. Sledgehammer or pry bar, it's what the tire shops use.....

RE: paddle board rack

Have you thought about inflatable kayaks? That's what we ended up with as we just couldn't see adding another rack or such. They work very well and are easy to store.

RE: Credit Cards For Fuel Discounts

To buy gas I use my GS card in combination with my Visa card which gives 5% cash back. So at $4.00 a gallon for gas I save $.25, pay $3.75 I understand that if you get a Pilot/Flying J credit card you might save more.

RE: Anyone Cancelling Truck Camper Trips Due to Fuel Prices?

Guess it depends on your financial situation. We have our summer travels to the mid west booked and have no plans to cancel. I mean a thousand bucks won't make or break us. What happened to all the money we saved in 2020 and 2021 when fuel prices plummeted due to Covid? Just saying....

RE: Dometic gas water heater problem

Sounds like a circuit board issue to me. I would remove it and get it tested. Or just buy and install a new one.

RE: Black tank not draining!

After you resolve your issue and get the tank flowing again, make sure you keep the black water valve closed, and allow the tank to get at least 3/4's full before you drain. Using an application of Happy Camper will go along way to eliminating odors and keeping things fluid. Anyone who tells you that some sort of black tank treatment isnt needed is just plain wrong. Been MHing 25 years plus, black tank odor and issue free!

RE: Alaska Bound

"Have decided to close my eyes when time to fill-up." Great plan...That's what I did every time we stopped for gas all the way back from Texas....LOL

RE: 2022 Ford Ranger Flat Towing?

The 2022 4 wheel drive Ford Ranger is towable 4 wheels down. Many are out there behind MH's right now.

RE: Class A Stabilizing Jacks

Why would you use a sealent to lubricate anything? Anyhow, depending on what type of levelers you have, generally there is a grease fitting at the bottom of each cylinder where the ram retracts into. I have PowerGear levelers and I have mine lubed yearly with lithium grease.

RE: For those towing with Teslas. Super charger tips. Thanks

How far can you tow on a charge Kinda depends. I’ll speculate on around 240 kilometres....ish? Wow, only about 150 miles? And you're only towing a tear drop.Obviously a ways to go before EV's become practical TV's....

Flying J usuaaly has RV specific islands that have both gas and diesel. They are usually separate and off to the left or right of the main auto gas Island in front of the store.

RE: Class C Water Problem

The faucet aerator on the kitchen sink is likely plugged up. Simply unscrew it, clean it and reinstall. This is likely your issue.

RE: Road side assistance

Either GoodSam Platinum package or FMCA package will do. Service from both is about the same. Or I suppose you could go with Coachnet Roadside Assistance although they tend to be much more $$. Some say the service is better but in my experience they are all about the same.
