RE: Got the MH weighed.

We weighed all the coaches at a rally and all of the single axles with a slide were overweight.

RE: F550 based Super C - anyone but THOR.

I talked to my service tech on my F550 and they don to have to remove the cab if it is harder to service that way and put it back on. SO they will lift it up or work on it with the house still on it. As to a great unit, look at Born Free on the F550. I have one and love it.

RE: Running the generator all night

I run mine all night for 20 plus years. In fact when I pulled out of the garage in my foretravel I would turn it on and never shut it off till I got across the country in the summer. It was on for 5 days straight and no issues. I did have one person in a rest stop in a class C get mad and stare at me while I was cooking and running it. SO I moved and let a refigerator truck pull into my spot overnight. It was poetic justice.

RE: Considering move from class A to C

I downsized to a c from a foretravel but mine is on a f550. I love it and it is easy to drive and has loads of power and muc more carrying capacity and towing ability.

RE: Is a toad necessary with a small motor home?

I downsized from 42 foot to 29 foot. I rarely tow any longer. I towed behind my Foretravels for 370k mikes but now it is freeing to not take one. The exception is the beach or places I will off road with the Jeep. My c will tow 12k pounds so it is not an issue that way

RE: Custer State Park

We went last year and I wills ay I was disappointed with the park. The campground was great and the hosts were very nice as well. I will say that the area while pretty and had animals paled in comparison to Yellowstone and it was pretty crowded as well.
