RE: 2nd to Wrangler what are the best toad options?

I have an Elantra that I tow 4 down. Hyundia says turn off the radio so you don't run the battery down and go. No speed limit or time limit. That being said, I have a Ford Ranger that I also set up to pull 4 down with the same no limits, just hook up and go. The Elantra gets about 32 MPG and the Ranger only about 16, but one has more room and one is a pickup. I think there may be more then one "best" thing to pull 4 down.

RE: rt 81

I think one bridge in PA is marked 14' 2". When you get your oversize load permit they will tell you the route you must take.

RE: Disney Says 10 Million Signed up for Streaming in One Day

Streaming doesn't work very well with so many places that don't have cable or cell service. If you want to stay in the city maybe it will work.

RE: Ripped off at Chevron

Because I pumped gas on an interstate as a teenager, I don't think it only happens in Mexico. There are many ways to get a few extra bucks.

RE: Blow out water lines question

We bypass the water heater, blow out the lines, open the low point drains. 25 or so years and it has frozen. Pink stuff in the traps.

RE: Southeast Massachusetts to Nashville TN

I came down 95 a couple weeks ago for the first time in a few years. We usually go 81. I used to come 95 just for something different but I my not do it again, it's not fun any more. 81 is way better

RE: Sale of Direct TV to Dish TV

Streaming doesn't work very well without good internet. DSL is sometimes OK if it doesn't rain. Cable only goes to the city or in town and no company has cell service everywhere. Many of us have no cell service at all. I'm lucky that I have it in one room.

RE: Camping Cat

When my malamute had just turned 17 years old she left. She had never run away before. The next day she came home with an oldish cat. They layed out on the porch, drank water out of the bowl and shared her food. Queenie died about two weeks later. I thought she wanted me to have a pet so I kept the cat. She lived about five years after that.

RE: Oops, Dodge just threw you under the bus...

We pulled a TT with my wife's '97 lariat f150 and we got a new TT that was heavier. It didn't have enough anything. We got an SUV (excursion) that would tow twice that of that half ton pickup. The GVW of the pickup was 1300 lb less then the SUV curb weight. The name, type or whatever means nothing, it's all about how it's set up.
