RE: Grand Canyon

We went to the Grand Canyon about 9 years ago...stayed at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in Williams and took the train to the Canyon. When you reach the Canyon, you get on a bus that takes you all around. They will also provide a box lunch..sandwich, chips, drinks. The train station is right at the South Rim with breathtaking views and shops. We enjoyed it.And downtown Williams is neat..we ate at a good Mexican restaurant.

Rock Collectors

I pick up rocks whenever we are traveling... just little rocks with pretty colors and shapes. Sometimes I find pieces of glass. I have a jar-full and I'm thinking I would like to have a Rock Tumbler. Do any of you do this and do any of you have a Rock Tumbler? If you do, I would love suggestions. I see there are many on Amazon, but I don't know how to choose! I would welcome any input. Thanks

RE: Florida

We loved St Augustine. If you've never been there before, may I suggest the Old Town Trolley as a great way to see all the famous old places in town...a hop on-hop off. The Lightner Museum is interesting and beautiful, as is the St Augustine Lighthouse.

RE: 2022 Plans for themed trips?

On our trip through Georgia we visited a number of waterfalls and enjoyed them. We plan a "waterfall themed" trip this year for our big road-trip. Are there must-see waterfalls we should include in our itinerary? I know of one in Alabama that's on the list. What are your plans for themed road-trips this year? PLEASE GOOGLE TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, TO FIND THE WATERFALLS IN THAT AREA...THERE ARE MANY BEAUTIFUL ONES!

RE: Suggestions of where to go

How about the Smokies? We went one year...stayed at Twin Creeks RV Park just outside Gatlinburg, rode the trolley to town, which was all decorated for Christmas.
