RE: Hemi to be replaced by inline six?

So many reasons that don't match the conclusions. Like saying the sun rises in the east and my Accord gets 30mpg. All true stuff but hardly related.
To sum it up: Absolute Power is One Thing, Power Curve is Everything.

RE: Need New shocks.... opinions please!

I've got Bilsteins on my Corvette and Monroes on my truck. They're just shocks, I've never felt that much difference after replacing shocks. I suppose I just don't wear them out, I just change them after 60k miles when I get the next set of tires or brakes.
My Honda struts seem to go forever.

RE: Placement of motorcycle for towing

Use the built in tie downs. Strap down a wheel shock in the middle on a rubber mat. Then park the bike in the chock and strap down the bike.
Even room for my rollout generator.

RE: Ramp door patio DIY. Whose done it?

If you want it quick and simple, just use a couple of ratchet straps and prop the tailgate into a patio. Didn't cost you a cent. No modifications, just hook them up.
A fellow camper purchased a toy hauler similar to mine. His had a dedicated convertible tailgate with railing and some type of cable system. Total PITB to get all that gingerbread out of the way to get his bike in and out.
For me, just hook up a couple of ratchet straps and sit out the lawn chairs. Just don't drink too much and fall off because there is no railing.
OTOH, I've only used my ramp for that once. I usually get my outdoor rug, set up my table and grill, the lawn chairs, turn on the stereo, good to go. And I don't worry about falling off my ramp.

RE: 1/2 ton towing a 5th wheel

If you're within weight limits, it should work. Be prepared to get 5 mpg when towing. Keep it under 65.

RE: Bought a new torque t285, Ram 3500

Sounds like a nice rig. I would only caution that I would never count on the dealer to fix anything and would be prepared to fix it myself or look to reputable repair sources.
In the case of the radio, take it to the local car stereo shop and pay out of pocket.
Certainly give the dealer an opportunity but don't be surprised if they fail.
Your truck should have no trouble pulling the trailer.
