RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

RE: Flooring Under Dinette (Pictures)

Something looks very wrong with the slide. From the exterior, does the slide look like it's tilted upward? The floor should look much more level than it does in the pics. I'd be talking to an RV shop about repairs.

RE: AC leak, help!

Get some damp-rid in there or a dehumidifier to dry out what is wet. A dry, spongy spot will indicate dry rot and something to consider repairing.

RE: Cruise control not engaging

DrewE described corrosion in the electrical and fuse connections at the master cylinder. I can confirm that. Last year my CC stopped working and it was suggested I check that fuse. Was I surprised to see the amount of corrosion present, no way an electrical signal was going to get through. With a small wire brush and electrical spray cleaner I was back up and running in no time. Best of luck.

RE: Belts on 1994 Ford V10 engine on Fleetwood Southwind

Sorry, but Ford didn't put a V-10 in your 1994 motorhome. You should have the 7.5L 460 engine unless of course a previous owner retro fit you motorhome to fit the V-10.

RE: First time out problems

I've never had to remove a control stick so I can't answer that. Vacuuming the contact plate and surrounding area has always helped when things got wonky. The yellow light signal comes from the level sensor mounted in one of your exterior compartments. The red light should light if it senses the parking brake is engaged. Have you tried stepping on and releasing the p-brake a few times to see if that will get the red light to come on?

RE: First time out problems

You describe the HWH 200 series jack levelers. Unscrew the knobs on the 3 control levers and unscrew the 4 screws holding the plate to the floor and lift off. Use a vacuum and suction debris out from around the contact ring surface. Debris interferes with making the electrical contact for jack engagement. For your own learning, go the HWH website and download the manual for your system, it is invaluable in troubleshooting. Best of luck.

I got a little dizzy looking at all that stone. I do like the accent wall but surrounded by it...I'm not so sure.

RE: Question on buying a "prior salvage tilte" RV

A lot of flooding occurs in TX and I'd be looking for evidence of that. A bad roof repair is the death knell for any RV.

RE: 2000 Bounder Electrical Problem

Check the inertia switch's red button, make sure it is completely depressed. The inertia switch is on the floor/firewall behind or near the brake pedal. In a collision/rollover it is supposed to kill power to the fuel pump.

RE: Getting no power at all chassis or coach Help please

Put a meter on your batteries, they're probably below 12v. The click you heard was probably the starter solenoid trying to work but did not have enough juice in the batteries to make it happen. Definitely recheck your connections at the solenoid.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

Hmmm, a carpentry repair job in the middle of tim buck two. So, that means you're carrying an uncut 2"x 12" around with you??? If that's the case, cut it before you leave.

RE: F53 brake master cylinder failure

For me, my master cylinder failed 2 weeks ago. Internal leak, no fluid loss but pedal to floor with minimal braking action. This MC was the OEM and my moho is a 1997. Aside from working in a tight space, replacement was a breeze.
