RE: Roof coatings.

I’m happy with Heng’s coating but have an intact rubber roof underneath.

RE: Camper got hailed on last night

Oral communication and insurance don’t mix. I said, he said, she said, they said.

I wouldn’t be so quick to blame the TV. Try all the suggestions above.

RE: Camper got hailed on last night

Sorry! Take a bunch of pictures. Submit a claim or notification to the insurance company online today. Ask for their guidance. Keep a copy of your claim notification. Protect your RV from water damage. I’d use a plastic tarp on the roof.

RE: Colorado State Parks closure

Great idea Colorado. Send all those RVers out on the road. Dopey policy.

RE: Traveling Mass TurnPike from New York. ( mountains ?)

Necessary to travel at this time? Otherwise, stay put. Mountains are easy compared to the Corona virus. It’s deadly.

RE: IL to VT Any news on my preferred route?

Unnecessary travel at this time is wrong, selfish. A danger to you and others.

RE: Traveling for Winter Sports

Check the local Walmart’s policy closely. Many are “no overnights.” Home Depot too. School lots are public property, yes, but out of your district they are not your public property. Who wants transients on school property when kids resume Saturday sports? Who will clean up the mess some campers leave? Not what truck stops want...dropped travel trailers. Heck, some don’t want us at all.

RE: camping in ohio

“we would like” isn’t important right now. Do what you are asked! Stay home! Doing what others are doing...traveling...may kill you and others.

RE: Flat towing vehicle list

Check with Ford on the Mercury’s capability to be towed four down. May have low mileage but that vehicle is 22 years old.

RE: Full-time and don't/didn't like it?

“I think those who sell their house, an increasing asset, spend it all on a RV with none set back for the future, can find them in trouble when they have to sell their RV, a decreasing asset, to buy a home.” X2 Deep trouble.

RE: New Truck - Is My Math Right?

“Be sure to get the lightest trailer that fits you and equip things with a good hitch and you should be ok.“ A good hitch is necessary, yes, but it isn’t the only item needed for being “ok.” No substitutes for adequate factory payload and weight pulling ability.

RE: Thank you for the info on suspension upgrades

Did the F150’s suspension get “a bit soft for the weight” because you are at or over payload? Treating the symptoms doesn’t fix the problem.
