RE: Generator runs fine, but no electricity in coach

I can hope there is a responsible You Tube tutorial about how to use your meter. Do not guess. Also, I highly recommend using nitrile mechanic's gloves when working around live circuits. They will protect against 120vac shock if dry. Also folks with Pacemakers should not work on generators. The reality is not a failure of the Pacemaker. It's vulnerability is corrupted memory that can erroneously show fibrillation, Bradycardia, or even Infarction when your cardiologist retrieves data.

RE: 2019–2022 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC POSTINGS

To keep this objective and clinical... The Swiss and German studies on prime boost philosophy insisted on hetero killed virus prime then mRNA boost. Titer neutralizer counts were much higher using this particular recipe. The first mRNA jab was intended to complete the series but two caveats have arisen. The Delta variant Full immunization is mandatory in the USA for surgery. I had my choice of Boosters. Pfizer, Moderna, or J&J. I chose Moderna. Medical is not simple chemistry. Reactive modulators created in the body must be specially determined and even then the apparent values are unique to that person. That is why large scale peer reviewed studies are absolutely mandatory. I wouldn't be at all surprised if my Titer count amounted to within the bell curve. I am old and frail with a highly compromised immune system. I remain sequestered until mid November. By December my immune response "should be" at it's theoretical maximum level of neutralizers. Time will tell. I intend to get bi-monthly Titer analysis.

RE: 2019–2022 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC POSTINGS

Correct Pianotuna. Like in the USA mixing vaccines is prohibito. I had no illusions that the serum was inferior but at the time the J&J was not available. The Sinovac was available. And as a killed virus primer it was perfect. The side effects were the same as the latter Moderna. But keep in mind I had to strictly quarantine for 120 days until I received the booster in the USA. Another 90 days will pass before the Moderna second jab. I'm doing this to play the part of a human Lab Rat. If I end up asymptomatic infected, great. But if I develop significant COVID19 symptoms then it's going to raise my eyebrows. I realize the chances of avoided infection with the Delta variant are next to impossible down here. I do not recommend anyone else try this. Stick with the official FDA protocol. Without having a way (here in Mexico) to differentiate between blood immunization and infection clues, I will not hazard a guess.

Focus on energy issues please. Rants about politics is like straight oatmeal sludge -- it gets old quick. Or down here: Pink and green tortillas They Fill You Up Fast... As far as California banning chain saws, it isn't going to happen. There are thousands of off-grid homesteads. Wood heat. Grid overload will come from an aggregate over taxation from motor vehicle, dwelling and industrial demand.

We Méxicanos are hoping the cactus curtain works :) I calculated today the price of regular gasoline here and it's $3.26 Please don't crack jokes about the gasoline. Its USA refined with 0 alcohol. We have a 1.15 Gw generation plant no outages or wind propelled flying wires. And steam distilled water in our pipes. But it isn't sterile. And the power and water is regional.

RE: 2019–2022 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC POSTINGS

I elected to go with a heterologous primer (Sinovac) and 120 days later the mRNA booster (Moderna). Sharps would only agree to mail the results of my titer which will reside in my USA mailbox until mid-November. Regardless, I have elected to proceed with a 2nd jab of Moderna mid-November. That would space the mRNA jabs at 90 days. Justification: Age 75, and 5 major comorbidities. The age related sag in neutralizing antibodies is a major factor. Thank you for your work posting the above data studies. It reinforces my decision.

No more chainsaws to fuel wood stoves. If I lived there I would probably go to jail after converting a stove to burn anthracite coal. Soon there will appear TESLA LANES in Sacramento allowing legislators and master planners freedom from miring with the wogs.

RE: Lithium cost keep dropping!

Life cycle I understand well. But a lithium battery contains "x" number of amp hours. Let's use the 20 hour rate... But a certain percentage of those amp hours are "no touchee" because any further drawdown would permanently damage the battery. The internal BMS prevents unintentional drawdown past the safety minimum. Now for my ongoing question... Yes or no Do the advertised amp hour claims for these batteries include or exclude mo-Touchee amp hours?

It's Delta T temperatures that count. 72°F to freezing is 40 Drop it to 0°F is 70 Again to -20°F and it's 90°F And family size is critical for hot water heating, and keeping bedrooms at 70°F during the day not 45°F But thank you for your example.

RE: 400 mile electric RV

Electricity versus petroleum includes more than motor vehicles. There are so few examples of all electric homes outside California and perhaps Texas and Florida that obtaining sample data is frustrating. Do *any* of you know what it takes to HEAT a 2,000 sq foot home when the Delta T is one hundred degrees? People scream in agony when they receive a bill for cooling a home with 30 degrees Delta T. Drop it to 60T or 40T Add an electric stove, kitchen accessories, fast recovery 50 gallon hot water heater, and presto zingo, you are looking at eight to ten times the power consumption as a motor vehicle. The government is going to chop carbon emissions by the old classic way. Tax it. I live in a country that allows the 1st 75 kWh inexpensively. 76 to 150 kWh is double the price 151 to 300 kWh triple that. But wait there's more DATA ALTO CONSUMO allows for "X" total kWh to be consumed in a two-month period. Then the cost triples AGAIN and all lower tiers are eliminated for the next six months to a year. Fifty cents, US per kWh. Can't be done! Won't be done? The federal annual mileage tax proposal is a myth. So are Pennsylvania Turnpike Style toll booths and automatic chip readers for cars. Nahhhhhhhh, they'll NEVER tax out of state purchases... Unless you are a credentialed electrical engineer that worked with power generation and transmission projections, be very careful about your theories. Start with this --- Pencil up a work sheet with 150,000 BTU electric heat, a six burner stove, 50 gallon water heater--- Forget about the car. What size electrical service does an all electric house consume. Hint: In 1977 The Summit, an all electric, new, luxury subdivision in Lake Tahoe had a revolt by new owners. Their bills were averaging $700 month To control consumption during the 1972-1974 gasoline shortage, they simply rationed gasoline. Don't be foolish and start believing the USA will not go the way of its southern neighbor and price tier what they consider excessive consumption. New construction will utilize underground distribution construction, with conductor size amplified 33%. Steel cored aluminum power lines will exceed doubled 1000 MCM cable. The price of aluminum will blast off like copper did. My crystal ball is becoming clearer. Wait for the day, a $50 or $100 excise tax is passed for LPG and natural gas water heater sales. Not green, I'll have to settle for a mild TAN down here. Before you show outrage, my TOTAL energy averages 88 kWh monthly. And ten dollars per month in gasoline at $4.00 gallon. You're champing at the bit, but I'll blow your arguments first, all electric houses are new construction presently in California. But if you're young, brand-new slip-in electric heater replacements will appear. Electricians will be hired, and petroleum energy price increases will encourage you to not delay. I'm fortunate to have a single-digit years lifespan ahead. It will spare me from hearing all the weeping.

RE: Lithium cost keep dropping!

They supposedly commit Seppuku if drained lower than a certain percentage of capacity. 20%? Is a 100 amp hour *rated* lithium battery really an 80 amp hours usable battery? Solar panel wattage is measured at the equator on July 1 at noon on a clear day. Atop a 15,000 ft Andes mountain peak?

RE: Remembering my best physical condition

My eldest granddaughter takes after her grandpa at the same age. Then I used to life a 50 gallon empty propane bottle into my pickup. She hoists a 5 gallon purified water bottle with each arm and walks across the beach. Thin but muscles like rope. She puts up with no guff from her three younger sisters. I recently stumbled across a bicycle pedal floor exercise machine. Sit in a chair and pedal away. With variable resistance and a control panel. I want to gain strength in my legs.
