RE: Speedometer and tachometer gauge failure

The 2004 had a recall on that issue. They replace the cluster, but a friend figure it out as a bad stepper motor in the cluster.

RE: 8R19.5 birgstone R187 metro radial tire

higher price than here $228 if you are looking at Bridgestone. Just make sure you pair them. Can't help you on good, but they do make good tires. This is for the R196A model. From a low of 228 to over $300. Think you need to look around more.

RE: Gas pump keeps clicking off and slowly fills gas tank

X2 on the vent and fill line. Our 99 had the same issue. I replace both lines. The filler line was way too long and sagging. Same as the vent. Replace them both with a better fuel hose. It helps, but the issue was still there, not as bad. As stated, the tank is the issue.

RE: Air bags slow to inflate

Have you check to see if you hear air leaking? I assume you are draining the water off the tanks or is it automatic.

RE: 97 CC Affinty NADA value

Just remember that if and I say "IF" you total the unit you will get the lower price. Sellers can ask what they want. We have seen prices all over the place this past year and most are very high Over NADA book. Some are over what they cost new. Good luck on your search.

RE: Starting search for 20 year old Lux coach. Have questions

Prevost and Newell metal, but you could have damage, something you need to check. There is always fiberglass connecting to this which almost always will have cracks due to stress. You also might run into Rubber.

RE: onan fuel pump

Just a thought - maybe I should hook up each one and see which one shoots out gas the farthest?? Thoughts anyone??? I think it's a good idea. Try it and let us know if there is a difference. You'll be replacing the pump anyway so it shouldn't take long to do the test. On Our pump it is low pressure, so that test might not be a good test.

RE: Water leak

Is the pump running more. Turn it off and wait. Also it could be grey water.

RE: Shower Remodel

We did a custom one from shower. The one in the RV got a crack and the issue was they were too big or too small and they were cheaper made that we we took out. It was made to fit the space and work out great. We ordered it and when we had all the stuff in including a new faucet, rip out the old and put in the new one with new pex pluming and everything. We like it so much order one for the home and did the same. Been 6 years and not one issue. It will be somewhat heaver than what you take out. The walls are 1/2 inch and the pan is heavy but made well. Don't think that you will see a Resale valve. Just out of pocket cost.

RE: Georgie boy pursuit

Seems to me you have already did the research and found the issues. Stress cracks means that the welds at the frame are weak, or not correct. There are better build units out there.

RE: Water heater

if you have blue pex water line in from your water supply then disconnect if it does not have a shut off and either pump RV antifreeze thru to each hot water outlet. Or disconnect same line and low pressure air and turn on each hot water line to it run air not water. When done put in a little RV antifreeze in tank if using air. I put in inline shut off valves so once winterized no fresh water got back into it. Get the water out now or you will be in for a lot of $$$$. manual

RE: Cb anntennas

Just get a top loaded antenna and you do not have to worry about a separate ground. It gets its ground thru the coax. Make sure you tune it using a swr meter.

RE: 1994 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 30CB

Pulling might require on the place to plan to stay. Older units would be finding the parts for the chassis as needed.

RE: Air-conditioner availability

I just log in to my Amazon account and it show a heat pump one is on hand and ready to ship. Might be different when it click order. With whats going on in this world , you can never tell. PPL motorhomes parts show they have them also.

RE: I need a new shifter cable for my 1992 Rockwood

Take it out and go to your local boat shop and they can make you one. Call some before you run to them. If not look on-line. Have replace many that was made to fit. You also have some good RV places around you and just a tad North of Houston. Just called a friend at the auto parts store and they have kits, that you make by adding a end. You must have your old one in hand to get the right length. Do not lose your fitting since you most likely will re-use them.

RE: Better handling

Might want to read this on the Chf. Have run across some that did this and the cost for repair was not nice. If you are having an issue then fix it the right way and enjoy it far longer and a nicer ride. front end alignment and correct air pressure will make a big difference. You might add that tires can and do cause a lot of handing issues. CHF fix

RE: A/C Issues??

Have you check the inside of the ducts to ensure that the tape has not come loose and the air is spilling out above the ceiling.
