RE: 2020 Ram 3500 OEM Rear Air Suspension

I wouldn't see why not, clearly it's got ride height sensors if it can compensate for road camber and hitch squat. What's interesting is that it says it can compensate for "shifting loads" so I bet it's a huge help in controlling side-to-motion on uneven roads with the camper onboard. I was just shopping 2015-2017 Rams and didn't see a single one with air suspension, so either it wasn't available yet or nobody ordered it....would be interested if anyone here on the forum has it on their truck. My 2017 has rear air.

RE: Seen It Before

Deer around here will send one out to the edge of the road and it will just stand there sort of half in the lane. Of course everybody will stop because there is a deer standing on the side of the road. Then you will see maybe 5 or 6 will then come running out of the woods and across the road. When the last one is across, the first one that stood there will then run across and join them. Wife and I always laugh about it because that one deer is like the school crossing guard for them.

RE: Hostess Cup Cake

"A little poison will not kill you!" You might want to stay away from the arsenic, cyanide, and bad tomatoes. Ah yes, everybody should watch that old Cary Grant movie-"Arsenic and Old Lace""Chaaaarrrrrrggge!" lol! When I was a kid I remember going to the corner store and you could buy a pack of Hostess cupcakes for 20 cents. Now if I was really loaded and had a quarter, then I could buy a pack of Hostess Suzy Q's.:D

RE: Do useless gifts bug you like they bug me?

My wife does this especially at Christmas time. She will buy useless "trinkets" for each and every relative. I'm not talking about 3 y.o.'s. her nieces and nephews are in their 30's. You can tell when they open them it's like "Oh, uh, gee, uh thanks." I keep telling her it puts them on the spot as if they were "obligated" to reciprocate. Took her a while after we were married but she finally realized the only gift I want from her can't be bought.;)

RE: Tesla Semi truck unveil & test ride set for Oct 26th !

Not an American but ... yah. I think Shiners issue is primarily with the US Goverment and the US defence department. He seems passionate about his stance but would be better served bringing his point to political forums as opposed to venting on contractors doing what they are paid to do. Nope. My issue is with the alarmist hypocrites who say they are for the environment pointing out others in their use of coal or rolling coal diesels when it suits then yet turn around and get excited a company that wants to launch a rolling coal diesel burning rocket just to take people to space for pleasure. As I keep saying(yet you guys seem to keep ignoring) I have no issue with SpaceX or any other company blasting rockets into the air even rolling coal diesel rockets because I don't believe we are in as bad shape as the alarmist claim. I do have a problem with the hypocrites who are celebrating it while chastising others for not doing their part(like buying EV's) to to save the environment. Many EV guys like to point out ICE carbon footprint in their debates about which one is better yet ignore the carbon footprint of launching rockets into the air especially when it is for something that is not needed like taking people to space just because they have the money to go. So as I said before, if you are celebrating this then I don't want to here a word about my or any other ICE owner's carbon footprint or which one is dirtier in your debate because you obviously don't care about it when it is for something you like. So then what about the anti-EV "hypocrites" that say EV's are more polluting because they have to mine for Lithium for batteries? Then, Musk's rocket pollutes more even though the boosters are re-usable. But, using old "one and done" boosters isn't polluting. Or paying Russia for rides for their who knows how much pollution their rockets put out.

RE: Tesla Semi truck unveil & test ride set for Oct 26th !

I don’t follow this much but does NASA even do rockets anymore? I thought it was all contracted out to Space X and Boeing. I actually don’t know. And NASA is contracting this to SpaceX because it's a lot cheaper. I don't know if Elon is already making profit -- but it will be incidental if he is, meaning, NASA wants it cheap and don't care if Elon is making profit. So you are saying that NASA scientist must be stupid because not only was SpaceX able to do it cheaper, but you are claiming that it is cleaner too? Truth is, NASA has to abide by the Clean Air Act as a government entity which tightened even more in the late 2000's along with budget cuts. It is very expensive to launch environmentally friendlier rocket fuel into the air. So most non essential space flights stopped due to budget reductions. However, since Elon lobbied to keep emissions out of the commercial space act, he does not have to abide by such rules and therefor it is much cheaper for him to shoot rockets into space which allowed SpaceX to be profitable for many years according to their president. Well if you were truly interested in rocket pollution you would be comparing levels of Russian rockets, Indian rockets, Chinese rockets, NASA rockets, Boeing rockets, SpaceX rockets.

RE: Chipmunks

I'm not sure what you call a Chipmunk in other parts of the country. Around here they never cause a problem. And, they are quite small. So my guess would be the same one as with the mice. Go get a hungry cat. My cat loves chipmunks. Had three this week. When he is done only the head, tail, and gut sack is left.

RE: New Heavy Chevy!

I have to disagree on the Dodge's. There is a pretty obvious difference between a 1993 and a 1972. I owned two 1985's and the place I worked in the mid '70's had early 70's Dodges. They were horrible trucks. Then they upgraded one to a 1980 Dodge. What a difference! They were so much nicer than the 70's and that's what made me buy the '85's. From 1980-1993 almost no difference. Sure, the late '80s-early '90s trucks were much nicer than the early '70s, but the basic body style was the same, and that was my point. OK, I stand corrected. We had 1970-71 Dodges where I worked. They were different. 1972 body changed.

RE: New Heavy Chevy!

Over here in the US, old trucks, tend to climb in value. Actually low mod, farm fresh trucks especially C/K Chevys do really well. Older Certain Fords also gain in value. He’s got some nice mods on the truck though, I like it, it’s not really dated, just right..... Yes, the Chevys of that era do well- that body style ran for well over 15 years if you include the 3500 DRW trucks that kept the old body style through 1991. Ford made a major update to its trucks for the 1980 model year so the mid '80s Fords don't seem nearly as "classic" as the same vintage Chevy. And Dodge, well a 1993 model could be confused with a 1972 by the casual observer who doesn't know trucks well. ****. Typed up answer and hit submit and lost it because of the error message on here. FYI, if it claims to be N95 and it has ear loop bands, it is most likely counterfeit. N95 has two seperate bands for your head that are fastened mechanically (like with a staple).

RE: Got a new TV

The Ford has adjustable foot peddles the GM 3500 does not. Strange why a high end truck doesn't have adjustable peddles. My old school 2009 does. X2
