RE: Sequential use of small water jugs with pump

Shouldn't be difficult with a Raspberry Pi or Arduino programmed to control a system of water level sensors and actuators/valves

RE: Credit Cards For Fuel Discounts

We use the TSD program for the motorhome. It's diesel only and you have to fuel at the truck islands. Last purchase was at a Petro - 63 gals, pump price was $341.27 and our cost was $305.11. Gassed up my truck at Kroger's tonight and redeemed customer loyalty points. 26.7 gals of regular. Pump price $133, discount price was $122

RE: TV & 30 ft TT to Mini Van and 17 ft TT

Heck, as long as you have "very useful and comfortable and adaptable buttocks", what more do you need?

Rivan truck tow vehicle

Just got home from 4 days at Indy. This rig was just a few spaces down in the lot. Towed from Virginia to Indy. He did say it was a bit of a challenge finding charging stations, but there are a couple of apps that help. height=400 width=600

RE: Which Blackstone to buy?

I used a 17" for several years. Last year I bought a 22" with lid and stand. We are very happy with it. It travels in the storage bay and the 17" now lives on the patio.

RE: Dealing with Dealership in todays Market

It is a hot market. We bought our 2006 diesel pusher in March of 2020. NADA average retail on our unit is more than $20,000 higher today than it was then.

RE: Generator to run three RV's?

I wish i could find the pictures, but a few years ago some folks here rented a large industrial generator and hooked up their RVs to it for a week-end get together. I don't know if they determined the actual cause, but the resulting fire completely destroyed 4 or 5 RVs.

RE: Electric Smoker for Long Term

I'll second the Davy Crockett. Mine has traveled in the storage bay for several years. Very convenient and cooks great.

RE: Original RV price

I've been occasionally checking the NADA average retail for our 2006 Country Coach. With the hot RV market, avg retail value has increased nearly $20,000 in the past year and a half since we bought it.

RE: Small Class A vs Large Class C

there are some very nice class Cs out there. But, I don't think I could give up the Class A basement storage. We carry a gas grill, Blackstone griddle,GMG pellet smoker, several tables, extra chairs, etc. etc.

RE: RV parts shortages

Many dealerships just don't look outside their normal channels. I was Emergency Purchasing Agent for a large mid-west heavy duty truck group that traded on exceptional customer service. My job was to expedite hard to get service parts. Our service manager would occasionally pop into my office to tell me one of his good customers was stranded in another state at a dealership that told the customer his needed part wasn't available. Usually, I could find it someplace and still get it shipped out of the warehouse next-day-air, often from the west coast. My service guy loved to phone the service manager where our customer was stranded and tell him the part he couldn't get was being drop-shipped to him and would be there the next morning.

RE: How to carry blackstone griddle

I had the 17" model and just cleaned and wiped the griddle, packed it in its carrying case and put it in a storage bay. I now have a 22" with the hood. I just clean and wipe the griddle, close the hood and set it in the storage bay next to the Green Mountain pellet smoker and gas grill.

RE: F550 based Super C - anyone but THOR.

I see Thor does build a Super-C on the F550 chassis. When we were considering a Super-C, everything we saw was on either an International or Freightliner chassis. And they are pricey
