Pink Antifreeze Stain

I have a pink stain on the shower floor from last year's winterization. Regular spray cleaners (kitchen and bathroom) have little effect. Can anyone suggest another cleaner that is safe for the shower surface and will remove the stain? Thanks

RE: General / Specific RV Question

Thanks for the link, but it did not help. My radio/CD unit is a Furrion DV3100. It does not appear to have a button that controls the outdoor audio speakers. Still looking for some advice that will allow me to figure out this mystery. I'll probably slap myself when I discover the answer. ;)

RE: RV Parks Near Johnson City, TX

I would take a hard look at Peach County - great rates Thanks! I booked a week at Peach Country RV and it is ideal for what I needed.

General / Specific RV Question

I'm currently on my third outing in my 2019 Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS. I'm also still learning about all the features that my 2003 Coachmen TT lacked. I have dual outdoor audio speakers and cannot find how to activate them. Is there a hidden switch that I have yet to discover? I would assume most TT brands are similar. Thanks

RE: RV Parks Near Johnson City, TX

Watauga Dam, near Elizabethton is awesome. Its a TVA campground, very scenic. Thanks, Bob! I think I'll stay a bit closer to home for this final trip of the year. :B

RV Parks Near Johnson City, TX

I'm planning a final week-long trip before winterizing my travel trailer. I would like recommendations for an RV park in the vicinity of Johnson City, TX. My only real requirement is FULL hookups. Thanks

RE: Going Back to a Travel Trailer

You won't even need an equalizer with that 3/4 ton pickup I'd bet. I have the 2019 version of the Freedom Express 192RBS. I towed it from DFW to Orange Beach, AL in June with a GMC Sierra 1500 without a hiccup. It tows just fine without an equalizer hitch.

RE: Jacking For Tire Change

Interesting discussion! Everyone stay tuned because on October 1st I'm going to start a brand new thread titled: Just Had a Flat ... What's the Best Way to Jack Up My Trailer? :):):)

RE: Replacing a Furrion AM/FM Radio

Mission Accomplished! I removed the faceplate from the Furrion DV3100 and what did I find? A burned out 10 AMP blade fuse. Easy fix. Thanks for all the suggestions.

RE: Replacing a Furrion AM/FM Radio

Thanks for some great ideas. The travel trailer is in a storage facility. I will go down later today and see if I can remove the radio. I'll post how it turns out. Thanks, again.

Replacing a Furrion AM/FM Radio

My Furrion radio died on my last outing and I want to replace it with an identical model, if possible. The radio does not have easy access from the top, bottom, back, or sides. I assume the front faceplate is removable and some screws probably hold it in place. However, I have not been able discover how to remove the faceplate. Does anyone have experience with Furrion products. There must be a simple answer.

RE: Honda EU3200i

I'm assuming that you started a general thread on small RV inverter generators. If so, here is another from Northern Tool. Very quiet at 57 dB. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200888192_200888192

RE: Harbor Freight Predator 3500

I will make one thing very clear, even brand names like Honda, do fail, it is very obvious that this does indeed happen since they do have authorized dealer repair centers and in the past, my understanding is they often have several months backlog. Indeed, they do! This goes for new equipment also. I ordered a Honda EU7000i ($4600) from Jack's Small Engines last August for home backup. After more than nine (9) months on backorder, I cancelled the order. Just last week I ordered a Powerhorse 7500i ($2400) from Northern Tool and it's sitting in my garage today. The Honda is noise rated at 58 dB. The Powerhorse is rated 55 dB.

RE: What Type Nail is This?

It's the type of nail used in picture hangers. Amazon link: Hanger Thanks! Mystery solved. The previous owner must have wanted to stabilize the shelf and that was the only nail he could find.

What Type Nail is This?

I've seen a lot of nails in my 72 years, but never one like this. This was toe-nailed into a shelf in my travel trailer. It was loose so I pulled it out. Does anyone know if this type nail has a specific function? https://imgur.com/a/vCSfrRX

Harbor Freight Predator 3500

Any comments on the Predator 3500 invertor generator? They advertise this unit as being Super Quiet (58 dB). It normally sells for around $850. However, I have been getting email coupons lately for 20% - 25% off any single item with NO EXCLUSIONS. I would like the flexibility of camping off the grid from time-to-time in my 22' travel trailer. It should run everything onboard with the added safety of inverter protection for entertainment electronics. Anyone have experience with this unit?

RE: Unhooked for the night.

I try not to unhook when traveling to a destination. I will book a pull-through site at an RV park. My Coachmen Freedom Express is 22' long so it's usually not a problem. Plenty of room for TT and tow vehicle. I hook up the electric and water ........... and settle in for the night.

RE: Louisiana RV Parks - Shreveport and Baton Rouge

I'm on the final leg of my return trip from Orange Beach, AL. Tomorrow, I head out on I-20 for DFW. I chose to stay at two KOA's, one in Denham Springs (Baton Rouge) and one here in Shreveport tonight. The biggest difference between the two is the quality of Wifi and electrical hookups. Denham Springs rates a 9/10. On the other hand, I would rate Shreveport a 4/10. The Wifi here was non-existent for most of the afternoon. Now, it's very weak and intermittent. The electrical has been bad all day and into the night. I have had to shut down my A/C three times because my volt meter shows 107V and glows a red warning. The average reading has been between 108V and 112V since I arrived about 1:30 PM today. I'm hoping to switch it back on in a few minutes.

RE: Orange Beach, Alabama

I spent 5 days last week at Sun Outdoors in Orange Beach. Very nice RV park. Quiet except for the one night they shot fireworks over The Wharf. They finished up about 9:30 PM so it didn't interfere with an otherwise quiet stay. I was a bit leery of the Wifi from some reviews I read. However, it was strong enough that I streamed a baseball game one night. Except for the extreme humidity, it was a very enjoyable trip.

RE: Louisiana RV Parks - Shreveport and Baton Rouge

Thanks for all the responses and good ideas. If I carried a generator, I would probably choose one of those casinos or Cabelas.
