RE: Cummins 8.3 codes

So the problem was what I said. Glad you got it fixed. :) :) the fault code was what threw us. Cummins . com didn't know what it was.. it takes a cummins insite computer to give the proper read out. the little garages don't have them, I canvased 4 cummins dealer before we found one.

RE: Buying New Class A Questions

Dutch Star 40 ft with tag axle would be a good choice NO ! dutch star is limited to 10k pounds. It would require a ESSEX or greater to get above 10k

RE: Newmar Gas and Diesel Opinions

Just curious about anyone's experiences with Nemar gas or diesel class A motorhomes. Quality Common issues Features Anything else you care to add... ive owned 3 Winnebagos and looking for another motorhome and want to stay open minded. We have owned our Newmar Mountain Aire, since 2009, (it is a 2000) It has never had a single problem, the cabinets are flawless. Our Newmar is showing its age, but there has never been anything major We had to replace windshields do to rocks, we have changed the air bags due to age and leaks. The cummins 8.3 has been trouble free we love it

RE: 1994 holiday rambler 38 cummins no fuel

Can you hear the lift pump running? it should run for 30 seconds after the key is turned on. if the lift pump is running, crack the line near the fuel filter, see if fuel comes out. open the fuel line to the tank, see if fuel can be supplied.

RE: Where does the little red wire go

I went through Banks site and didn't find your model number. You could try calling Eric Davis over at Eric's RV in Sequim. He did a lot of work with Gale Banks. that engine calibration module , is way of date. banks is sending a owners manual for it. But looks like I'm in for a updated module but not for banks.

Go to Banks website with your exact product part number for the instructions if you don't have them. What is your Banks part number? 62663

RE: Where does the little red wire go

Not sure if this is your exact product. Page 16 says power. Manual This is not a "Stinger pack' and this system is on a cummins 8.3 ISC Thanks for helping.
