RE: Giant Recreation World in Fl. Wadda ya think

Scarecrow, it is the norm. That’s why the good tech’s have left. All I can say is buy something and then take it elsewhere for service. As far as the forever BS, it’s just a gimmick. Just my 3 cents.

RE: Giant Recreation World in Fl. Wadda ya think

I bought my 2019 Cedar Creek Champagne from GRW in Palm Bay. Had over 8000.00 upgrades added before picking it up. Boy I never new how everyone loved me. Took it home and went to Hollywood, Florida for a week. Saw a few issues. Left it there for 2 months and out of 52 small issues they fixed 4. Needlessly, 3 are still broken. I’m on my way back to the factory as we speak so they can address the items that need attention. They said if I leave with them 2, maybe 3 days at most, they said I will leave a happy camper. Be very careful over there from the service mgr lying word after word to the drunk techs out back. What ever you do, don’t fall for there paint protection and tire protection. All I can say this is my 2nd coach so let the buyer be ware of there fast talking salesman.

RE: Looking for recommendation for Electric Bikes...

My wife and I have two bikes that are setup with BionX rear wheel motors. The best think is that they have a big dealer repair base not that I have had any issues the only issue is they are made in Canada so it could be a few extra days if parts are needed. The battery is installed in the middle with a lock and you can take battery of with a turn of the key. The best investment we did in a long time.

We left in our RV. We are up in NC where my boy lives. Soon as the roads are ok, we will bring the RV home and start rebuilding. We are safe and that’s the main thing. Thanks for the prayers.

RE: Hurricane Michael Florida Coast RV'ers

Anybody who thinks that this hurricane will just be a little property damage is crazy. I will be more than happy to let you stay and watch the weather channel free with a complement bottle of fine wine. My home is located 30 miles from the coast in Apalachicola national forest. Please respond If you are one of those people.

RE: WiFi Monitors for interior of camper

Don’t forget to use a battery backup if electric goes off. This way you know if you lost signal or you lost power. Don’t ask me how I no this.

RE: 5er hitch

Well folks, put the new trailsaver TS3 in and took a 150 mile trip. Have 7” between coach and bed rail. Sits level. Have 60lbs in trailsaver pin box. I did not no I had a 42’ trailer behind my ram dually. Very easy to hookup and disconnect. I would like to thank everyone that tried to help. It might have been something I was doing but for now I’m thrilled. I forgot to mention both hitch’s had 18” to top of bed plate. See ya down the road blowing smoke.

RE: 2019 Cedar creek champagne roof

Laxnox. Well said. I can see before my warranty is up, I’ll be contacting my attorney. If it gets worse My attorney will have more on our side. I wish people would start class action lawsuits and then maybe the RV business would have happy campers. The problem I see is they think money grows on trees. They charge enough,

RE: 2019 Cedar creek champagne roof

This is the response I just got back from Cedar Creek. below was the answer I got from the factory. Let me know if there is anything else you need. Have a great day! "The pictures just show air under the rubber that is perfectly normal and shows that the rubber is air tight."

RE: 2019 Cedar creek champagne roof

Ford guy, that’s exactly what I’m getting, but I’m told the membrane is only warrantied for ten years and not the glue. I have it documented with dealer and cedar creek,(Forest River). I guess this will be a waiting game. If it makes 5 years then it will be dealers problem when I trade.

RE: 2019 Cedar creek champagne roof

Thanks dbir for the contact. Is this normal if it is a older roof. Just got off the phone with dealer and they are telling me this is normal. When it cools off, it will shrink back and get very tight. Does that seem normal or BS. Thanks
