Cleaning out black tank for winter
Anyone have a good remedy for removing poop residue? I have hooked up the outside rinsing but still have residue. I was going to try and go through the toilet with hose and see if that flushes it out the drain....

Thanks for all the tips, i think I'm going to leave them on the trailer and hook them up to a charger!

Winterizing a fridge.....
Do you do anything special when winterizing your TT? I plan on keeping my TT plugged in to keep my batteries charged, but should i clear out the fridge and shut it down?

How to winterize batteries on the TT?
I have dual batteries for my TT. How should i care for them during winter? Also, if you plug in your TT does it keep your batteries charged or do I need to get a trickle down charger for each battery?

RE: Winterizing TT for 1st time and have a ??? about the toilet.
The cleaning system, hook a hose to the outside hookup and it sprays out the black tank. The water left is in the bottom of the black tank not the bowl. Does the water ever completely drain from the black tank? Im sure im over thinking this but im sure rv antifreeze will just mix with any water residue.....

Winterizing TT for 1st time and have a ??? about the toilet.
Howdy,
We just purchased a Springdale TT with toilet cleaning system. I flushed the line several times and still see some residue down in the line. I plan on blowing out the supply lines. Is it common to have about an inch of water down in the toilet drain?

How to get rid of soap streaks after washing a TT?
When I wash my Springdale aluminum side TT I get these streak Mark's that look like hard water streaks? I use a turtle wax car wash that cleans well but still leaves streaks. Is there any other soap or a way to get rid of the streaks?

I'm just trying to find a flatter ride from Boise to Lincoln city that's not so hard on 5ge truck. I think the best route would be to take highway 20 through Bend.

How is Hey 22 through the Ochoco mountain pass in Oregon?
We are pulling out travel trailer from Boise, Idaho to Lincoln city Oregon and are trying to avoid Cabbage patch hill/Deadmans pass on 84 if possible. Is it a steady climb through the mountains or steep climb?

Is there an alternate route for Deadmans pass in Oregon?
I'm heading to the coast from Idaho and I'm looking for an alternate route by passing deadmans pass above Pendleton. We are considering leaving early to try to get up the pass in the morning to avoid some heat!

Unleaded vs. Premium gas, does it make a differnce?
My father inlaw suggested I run Premium gas when towing the TT. Makes sense but not sure it makes a difference, any thoughts?

where 2 get water for RV before you reach your destination?
Hey guys,
I really would not like to pull anymore weight than I need to, but who does! Is there a way to know if you can fill up close to your destination? There must be way to find out before you get there?

Which way to go from Boise to Challis Idaho?
Which is the easier way to go to Challis Idaho from Boise, highway 55 through horseshoe bend/garden valley or highway 21 through idaho city? My concern is the steepness of the mountain from boise to horseshoe bend! Is highway 21 more of a gradual climb?
