RE: Connect Sink Directly to Portable Wastewater Tank

If you're going to keep it under the sink, Use a 7 gallon Aquatainer or two. They are cheap at Walmart.

RE: Propane Regulation

Going from memory, isn't the Blackstone regulator at the bottle connection? Use the appropriate adapter to connect the hose directly to the griddle. Mine works fine from the low pressure quick connect.

RE: hose hanger mount for spare tire

I like the idea but schedule 40 PVC may not be strong enough. Keep an eye on it and watch for cracks, specially inside the ells.

RE: Outside shower conversion to faucet?

Look at the way the existing valve set is installed. The water connections are horizontal, not vertical as would be needed for the faucet you chose. You would have to drill new holes in the "box" and plug the old ones somehow. Hopefully there is enough extra PEX behind the box to reach the new mounting position, or you will need to extend them. I think putting a dish sprayer head on the end of the hose instead of the shower head is the best suggestion. It isn't obvious but look closely, the faucet pictured is wall mount.

RE: Outside shower conversion to faucet?

I'm thinking about buying the below faucet. It has 1/4 turn ceramic valves and a 10" spout that will be needed since the mount is recessed. The spout will need removed to close the compartment. https://krowne.com/cmsAdmin/uploads/10-410l.jpg width=400

RE: Outside shower conversion to faucet?

I cant figure out how to post pictures here yet, go to post 3 here. Its a good idea, just replacing tbe shower head with a faucet. I can get the where to get it later if you like. And i hope its ok to link to other sites. https://www.popupportal.com/threads/best-camper-mods-in-the-past-year.130226/#post-1350403 Thanks, I happen to be a member of that forum and have 2,435 posts from back in my Aliner years. https://www.popupportal.com/attachments/988e497b-316f-444c-9500-4106d1668700-jpeg.64498/ width=400

RE: Frig in Outdoor Kitchen

Our outside refrigerator is 120 volt ac but we do have an inverter so it could be powered if we want.

RE: Old fresh water tank spout replacement help

Pressurized tanks used to be common in earlier RVs, I had some back in the past. You may be able to retrofit the system using a modern demand pump. You will still need a way to fill the tank and will have to add a vent. If budget allows I would replace the old galvanized tank.

RE: Outside shower conversion to faucet?

https://i.imgur.com/Aa8pfOEl.jpg There is nowhere in the kitchen area to add a sink/faucet. There is room behind the existing shower to install a different box and faucet. I hadn't considered removing it all and starting over. I will see what I can find along those lines. I've considered the fish tables but would still have to redesign things to have both hot and cold water. I wouldn't want to be fussing constantly with two faucets plus I have a table I like I do like that flexible shower arm, it has possibilities. I was already considering using a bar faucet, that flexible arm with a bar faucet may work. I really appreciate the ideas, I've been noodling on this for a while now and making do with what I have. Any other ideas?

Outside shower conversion to faucet?

I have a typical outside shower as seen in the picture. The shower is located near the outside kitchen. The outside kitchen does not have a sink or faucet. I've been using it like a faucet but would really prefer to install an actual faucet in place of the shower. Any suggestions on what I can use? https://i.imgur.com/qUV1DPyl.jpg width=400

RE: Furnace fan speed control

It would be great, but, the fan has to move enough air to engage the sail switch. I wouldn't put a large effort or dollars into it in case it doesn't work. Keep us apprised if you do make the attempt.

RE: Propane regulator has begun to whine quietly

Get a digital manometer on Amazon and check the regulator’s ability to maintain proper pressure under load. I bet you’ll be replacing the regulator. :):) Or a homemade manometer like I've used for years; https://www.rverscorner.com/manometer.html

RE: Dish TV Pay-As-You-Go RV Plan

We do not and have never had Dish at home. We do have Dish "Pay as you Go" when we travel. Using a Playmaker and a Wally we turn it on by making payment in the app. If we don't want it anymore, we just let it expire until we want it again. I don't know about the credit comments, we have never actually canceled/paused the service, we just let it run out. Next time we are done with the service I will pause it and see if we get a credit to use later.

RE: Decent inexpensive modified sine wave inverter

I suppose they are all good in that they do what they are designed to do. I've got a 400w and a 2000w from Harbor Freight, they both work. The thing I have noticed about the cheap ones is they have a high idle current draw. This is compared to my Xantrex pure sine that uses almost no power at idle.

RE: Electric Bikes???

I bought a RAD City in 2017 and a RAD City Step Thru in 2018. We love them, inexpensive and amazing customer service.

RE: 2007 Heartland Trailrunner Battery Drain / Reverse Polarity

That switch hanging from the box is not a factory install. It was added by an owner so it could be anything. You need to do some detective work to figure it out.
