RE: Building own travel trailer legality?

I built a cargo trailer. Got a weight slip, went to license bureau with weight slip and receipts, and got plates.

RE: Shower head bracket/holder

I did similar, just used heavy insulated wire and twisted/formed into a usable shape.

RE: Suddenly, rangetop burners not getting propane..

I would put a manometer on the system and check the pressure from the main regulator and then the stove regulator. The alternative is to guess and start throwing parts at it.

RE: Resealing the Edge of the Roof, Dicor, Eternabond, or Both?

Those that take Eternabond over the edge to the gutter - did you remove the plastic screw cover or leave it in place?

RE: AC Unit Efficiency

Excellent question, I'm interested also.

RE: Trapped?

We left Florida mid March about a month earlier than planned. It was the right choice, my wife is high risk.

RE: Carrier Air V Problem?

Not normal for ours, on auto the fan cycles off after the thermostat is satisfied.

RE: Propane of Electric to heat H2O whilst Full-Time

I answered in your other thread, you aren't supposed to make duplicate posts.

RE: Replacing Water Line Connection (with pics)

It's 1/2" PEX and NEVER use a worm drive hose clamp on it. It will pop off. Buy a bag of crimp collars and a crimping tool. You'll get plenty of use out of it.

RE: Water Hearter Source For Full-Time

Both if electric is available. The electric stays on 24/7 and flick the switch to add the LPG before getting in the shower.

RE: One More Solar question

I put a single breaker between the panels and controller. It allows use as an on/off switch also as the panels should not feed the controller if batteries are disconnected. The size of the breaker should be decided according to the gauge of the wiring.

RE: Gray and Black tank sensor issue

Learn to ignore them and life will be much better. They never work correctly unless you want to spend the money on a better system that has the sensors outside the tank.

RE: Cheap way to isolate and charge gel cell- relay or diode ?

I used to have slightly used gel cell batteries because I got Deka group 24 gel cells for free. I always let the converter take care of them without trouble.

RE: HOA says NO to temp RV for Dr.

Tough tiddly. Although I appreciate what medical personnel are going through, they purchased that home and agreed to the stipulations.

RE: Name That TT !!!

Check with the Tin Can Tourists. Nevertheless $1,000 is too much, go for about half that amount.

RE: question

Not likely, do you have a CH751 key to try?

RE: Plugged in or Trickle Charger

jdc1, how do you mean, exactly? The converter is a WFCO model WF-8955PEC. Still trying to figure out the charger. You said battery tender. Do you truly have a Deltran Battery Tender or are you using battery tender as a generic term? Do NOT use a trickle charger without supervision. The Deltran Battery Tender is a battery maintainer, not a trickle charger, and is an excellent device.

RE: Amp hours

Guessing that you have somewhere between 210 and 230 ah of battery your 300 watts of solar is sufficient. There wouldn't be much benefit to adding more solar without adding more batteries.

RE: No 12VDC Power

RV standard is black-positive and white-negative.

RE: Plugged in or Trickle Charger

There is no way anyone can give an accurate answer without knowing the brand and model of converter plus the brand and model of charger.
