RE: Gasoline/Diesel Shortages

Panic buying and NIMBY attitude. A refinery in North or South Carolina with designated crude delivered by ship would help. It appears this time will be over by the weekend.

RE: Run on gas

It will be corrected by this weekend and until then stockpiles will suffice.

Would it be better to use this epoxy AND 1/2 inch marine plywood?

RE: Missisippi RV parks on I-55

Ms has several on i55. Possibly you can narrow down the area you want to stop.

RE: Dometic fridge not cooling on LP. Just LP.

Put small fan in bottom of fridge. Give your unit more time to cool.

RE: Gas Stop

I thought that was a protection in all modern tanks.

Alabama road conditions

Alabama roads are in very poor shape. On 4 lanes sometimes it is best to use the left lane rather than damage your rig.

RE: Hwy 442 Gatlinburg

Check your subject. Yes 441 is an ok route. Like most roads in that area it can have curves and a lack of shoulder at times. We last used it 2 years ago prior to covid 19.

RE: Las Vegas

Circus Circus has a tall fence around the camping area and the exit and entrance goes right by the office. While it is a parking lot feel with pedestals it is so large that your neighbors are over 100 feet away. It also has several well kept dog runs with pea gravel.

RE: Las Vegas

Circus Circus has camping spots. Not much shade but on strip.

RE: Turbo goes out at 37,000 miles

Heat? Dirt? Some last some don't.

RE: GM Spokesperson admits energy to charge cars comes from coal

When a word like "admits" is used you have already tainted the information. If a word such as "stated" is used the reader senses you are neutral. If coal can be made cleaner why shouldn't it be used.

RE: LED Awning Light Strip Does not work on Brand New Trailer

I can't believe you took possession before it was fixed.

RE: TravelStar 17CK

Pictures would be most helpful. The hose near the drain line is likely a drain line for water heater or fresh water tank.

RE: Satellite Antenna Installation in Seattle Area

Dish playmaker with wally ( High Def tv) or two walleyes if you want. Add hardisk ($90)for recording and hard mount kit ($65). All for about $500 up front then whatever is going rate to install per hour. Current cost is $5 per receiver per month activated if you have Dish at home. Also onetime activation of Hard disk is $40. Based on first hand experience there is no more rain fade with enclosed dish than there is with house mounted exposed dish.

RE: Would you switch from Class A to Travel Trailer

We have owned: 25 foot Airstream tt, 37 foot class A motorhome, 35 foot 5th wheel, 19 foot Airstream, 23 foot Airstream, and finally a 16 foot Airstream. It is hard to beat the room and convenience of a class A. It is also hard to justify the expense of a class A and a 5th wheel and TV. For anything other than long trips I liked the 25 foot Airstream the most. It had sufficient room and was 1/2 ton towable which limited the expense. It was small enough to get into most RV sites. It towed very smoothly. Only you know what your preferences and needs are.

RE: can a ford ranger tow trailer on steep mtns rds?

If you don't mind pedestrians passing you it should be just fine. Thats a lot of weight. So apparently 270 horsepower is insufficient??? That’s more than the original v10 made. OP- the same motor has been in the Explorer for some time, and I’ve never heard a single power complaint. And I had a V10 and in some situations pedestrians could have passed me. Can it pull it-sure it can-will I be comfortable-not really.
