RE: May have towed too much weight

I don't understand how the atf can be burned but nothing ever overheated. When you take it to the dealer they should insure your sensors are working correctly.
In any case good luck and welcome to the forum.

RE: May have towed too much weight

Some places and models list your tow limit of 3500 to 5000 pounds. Where did you get the 5000 number. Did you take it out of OD?

RE: Distance between the two RV?

That's why RVs have wheels so you can move on if you're not happy.

Micro air soft start claims to provide excellent help via phone so why are you guessing about how to install. Call them as you are clearly confused.

RE: AC tripping generator

I think it's time for a new AC or at the very least new capacitors.

RE: AC tripping generator

What is size and age of your airconditioner? What other items are drawing on the genny? Water heater
Converter fridge heat strip you name it
That genny should have no problem starting a 15000btu AC.

RE: Propane Connection Leaks

Not normal. You should not have any leaks. It may be your vent releasing some pressure. If you have filled the tanks and not used much and the temperature goes up the valve will vent. Try using some and then check for leaks.
Also you may have a little trash in the vent valve.
Don't run out and buy new disconnect from tanks and tap a few times then hook it back up and see if you are good to go.

RE: Cummins Onan LP 25 won't start...

Pull spark plugs put some seafoam in cylinder and then replace plug and turn engine over for a instant and let it set for a day. You may just be lucky.

RE: Fuel Ecomony - Towing

There are many different versions of 3/4 ton. Therefore your question cannot be answered. Also are you going up in truck so that you can carry more?
For a guess I would say about 10 mpg. Sometimes more Sometimes less.

RE: Micro Air

We have a Honda 3000i and a Westinghouse igen2500. The Honda is very heavy but is a good solid generator. We use it to power our systems in the house when storms cut our power. That and a transfer switch work wonders. Cost about $2400.
For the RV we use the Westinghouse igen2500. It is much more portable. We have it mounted on the tongue of the airstream. It provides all the power We need and only sips fuel. Cost $450.
Both generators have their uses and fulfill them perfectly.

Sailboats have suffered the same problem for years. Suggest you talk to a boat repair shop near your location.

RE: Nashville GSMNP

We have been going to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge twice a year since 1968 and have never had that type of jam. We did get delayed due to Dolly's parade one year. Get on the upper route to cut out any tourist.

RE: Dewinterizing Today

Down here we experience 5 seasons. Two of which intermingle with each other. Spring, fall, Winter,
Summer, and Hurricane. Spring and Fall both last less than a week. Winter lasts about a month. Summer and Hurricane take up the remainder of the year.
Ironically we do envy those that have to winterize.
