RE: Any help welcome...please

It appears they are asking about regular good sam and not the ers coverage. If so they are in the wrong section of this forum.

RE: Securing generator while running

Ours is on the tongue of the trailer in a tray and is held in place with a grollilla cable. If they really want it they can get it if we are away for a while. If we are nearby they are likely to get more than they bargained for.

RE: Chew on this.

The party is over for a while. Normal fluctuations in the market. Fuel costs have reached their new normal.

RE: Extremely Fustrated

I would take a law officer and my title with me and remove my rig from their premises. The fact that they ordered parts means nothing if they are not able to deliver. Stand your ground and don't take no for an answer. If they won't turn it over to you press theft charges against them and list the leo as a witness.

RE: Not bad for 11 years and 240,000 miles.

Yes but the spare tire needs air. We all should be so fortunate. And it also still looks good. How does one get a quarter million miles out of a set of brakes?

RE: Tires rubbing on camper 2 inch clearance ?

Possibly from wrong size tires and rims.

RE: Major Ecoboost repair, long delays

When you find yourself in a hole quit digging. Time to look for a suitable replacement.

RE: Testing water system. Almost no leaks

A lot of things dribble when they get old.

Nice. Glad you had room for the dog. They really love to camp.

RE: First time I've seen Jackery offered at Costco

A sale is on now for the 1500 and 1 panel for $1999.99. So yes it is a better deal as the extra panel would sell for $300.

I'm not sure you can find a park that meets your requirements. There are several in the $30-40 range but safety is unknown.

RE: Washington DC Advice Needed

The metro is very good and not expensive. The Smithsonian is between the Capitol and Washington monument. Washington's monument is right across the street from the White house. Right next to the WM is the reflecting pool and the Vietnam memorial and Right next to that is the Lincoln memorial. All walking distance. It can take several days to see most of the Smithsonian. Mount Vernon is down the river and you may consider driving to that. There is little to no parking in the city so forget that. A great view is to sit on the top step center of the Lincoln memorial and look over the reflecting pool. And by the time you get there you will need a few minutes of rest.

RE: Washington DC Advice Needed

Suggest you check out Cherryhill rv park in College park Maryland. They have several different ways to stay without a camper. They also have very good connections to the metro.

RE: Back up camera systems

Quit wasting your time and call RV Cams in Central LA. They are the go to source for Rv, bus, and 18 wheeler fleets. They know their business.

RE: Medicare For Full Timers

There are several posts here promoting AARP insurance. I was an AARP member a few years ago. They would periodically send me mail promoting their car insurance or health insurance. When I compared the prices for those insurance products with what I already had they were much more expensive. You would think that if AARP was using its millions of members as an incentive to insurance companies, that they would get better rates than non-AARP insurance offers. I wonder where that extra money is going? Maybe into the pockets of the executives at AARP? You got this right. AARP is a insurance company. It started out selling Colonial Penn life insurance years ago. It now realizes there is money in health insurance. It claims to be a advocate for the older citizens but in reality is a advocate for the good of the company. For that you pay them to belong. A old carnival owner once said something about a sucker born every minute.

RE: Can 'O Worms: how long can I expect my 5er to last?

A lot depends on the build materials and maintenance. For example Airstreams tend to have long lives.

RE: Medicare For Full Timers

begum seems you are out voted again as many many RVers like and use AARP. Happy trails to you. Gee if I had known you were counting votes I would have called in Roger Stone to certify the results. Popular doesn't equal best. Cheers

RE: Medicare For Full Timers

You have received the best information from the above post with the exception of AARP.

RE: Guidance using Zamp Solar Controller

It has been said that with nothing to charge the panels don't do anything.
