RE: Another new generator ban bill in legislation in

jdc1...I think you might have inhaled a little too much of that smoke up there in the Rescue area. The California wizard politicians keep pushing electric vehicles and are willing to subsidize gardeners to replace their equipment with batteries. Homeowners will have to incur the expense on their own to replace small engine equipment. The big question is "Where is the electricity going to come from to charge all these electric vehicles and tools?" We certainly don't have it now as we are asked to shut things down during a "Flex Alert".

RE: TV antenna

Get the add on attachment that Tom M referred to. You will have the best antenna you can get IMO.

RE: Replace just one tire?

I doubt if you will find a GY Endurance in the size you need. GY has stopped production until Feb.2022. If you need them now look at Maxxis M8008's or Carlisle HD. I have had Maxxis on 4 trailers with great results.

RE: Suburban swde6 water heaters

I believe the 5243 is 10 gallon compared to 6 gallon for the 5239

RE: experience with Foremost (Farmers) insurance?

I sold Farmers Ins. years ago and quit when it became apparent to me that their goal was to NOT pay claims. Although Liberty Mutual is not the cheapest they have taken care of me with numerous claims I have had.

RE: New Tires Lighten my Wallet

I'm very happy with my Maxxis. I have run them on two trailers and 2 boat trailers. Not even going to bother searching for GY Endurance when I replace them this spring.

RE: Replace cushion

If it's upholstered on both sides put the curved end towards the window. Is the other cushion the same? Maybe they are in switched position.

3 or 4 years ago I would have said Reflection hands down. Considering they have been bought out, now I would choose the Durango Gold on your list.

RE: Changeover valve

Marshall Excelsior is USA made, good quality. Marshall Excelsior MEGR 253P on Amazon. But the problem I see is the statement that it usually ships in 1 to 2 months :(

RE: Glacier National Park and Mount Rushmore campgrounds

Can you still see enough of Glacier if the Road to the Sun is not open or don't have an entry ticket for it?

RE: Changeover valve

Marshall and Cavagna are hard to find right now. Fairview have good rep but $$$. Here's a link that has some in stock.

RE: Replacing New Trailer King RST+ : Only Option Is Carlisle??

With 16" tires you should be able to find an LT tire that would be as good if not better than an ST. Just make sure it has the load rating you need. Many people have good things to say about the Carlisle HD. If you can't find anything else I wouldn't be afraid to buy them.

RE: Best wax for fiberglass................

I just got done using MaGuire's Flagship Marine Wax and could not be happier. Easy on and off and great results.

RE: Flying J frustrations - Alternatives?

Since I have a 2005 diesel that isn't made to run on the B-20 that Flying J, Loves etc. are offering I try to fuel when unhitched from trailer. I'm considering a replacement fuel tank to give me more capacity than the 26 gallon OEM tank. I agree that Flying J and Pilot have become complacent in their concern for the RV business.
