RE: Connect small wires to auto battery post?
This should work:post connector
If your battery has screw in side posts they make one for that as well.
Like these: side post adapters
RE: AT&T new deal with Tegna for all local TV stations
Hopefully DishNetwork will come to an agreement with their local provider as well. I get sick of being their pawn while they play their games. We know we are going to be the losers.
RE: EMS / Surge Protector
Get the Hughes booster and the PI HW50C.
X2
I have both but in the 30amp version. An EMS does not boost low power and most power boosters do not give the protection that an EMS does. With both you are pretty safe from most hazards.
RE: Login Security Warning
Chrome started doing that to me a few days ago. It even comes up when going to MSN. I tried a few fixes I found posted but none have worked. Hopefully Google/Chrome will get it fixed.
I have read it is a problem with not having HTTPS in address.
RE: Spare Tire Bracket - broken - Jayco 1206
Most muffler shops will weld something for you. I would take it and see if they can repair it.
A new bumper mount at ETrailer.com is in the $40 to $60 range.
RE: water pressure regulators
Good ones are not cheap. Don't remember paying this much for mine but price of brass has increased. Any of the Watt's 263A models will give you good service and are rebuildable.
I have this one: 263A w/ oil filled gauge
RE: Memphis
We stayed at Graceland Rv directly across the street from Graceland. They have a shuttle that runs to Beale street that you catch at the Graceland Hotel. As mentioned above Beale Street is not a good area and seems like it could boil out of control at any time. (We felt much safer in Nashville and New Orleans) Parking is limited to mostly smaller vehicles and expensive.
RE: Replacement Scare Light Bulbs
1156 is brighter. Here's the description: the 1156 replaces the 1141, has the same physical characteristics, is brighter (26.9W vs 18.4) and uses more current (2.1A vs 1.44).

RE: Getting close to a TT
My trailer has never been back to the selling dealer for service. Look around for an RV repair business that will do Forest River warranty work. Call FR and verify that they will allow you to go there. You should be able to adjust your WD hitch. You probably will do a better job than the dealer will do. Check the sticky in this forum for instructions. Most dealers throw in a starter kit that is mostly junk. Don't buy anything at the dealers inflated prices. Shop online for what you "need".
RE: Blackstone 22" griddle for $99 at Walmart!!

inventory checker

RE: 12V or 6V
I think the first question should be "Do you need the extra amp hours that 2 6 volt batteries will give you?" Do you plan to boondock often or have an inverter to run or do you usually camp with hook ups? If the need is truly there then 6V has the advantage. We very seldom if ever camp without hookups, don't use an inverter, so I have no need for the extra amp hours or weight.
RE: crank up antenna won't crank up
Be careful of what you spray around your roof. Silicone is probably the safest thing.
Here's a video that might help and as others have said...You have the best antenna out there. Fix it or replace it with the same. A Batwing addition helps a lot.
