RE: It's a wonderful day: COVID vaccinations

We live in a rural NC county and I figured it would be a while to get the shots. Nope, once the CDC changed high risk to include 65-74 last week NC our little county jumped on it. We're getting our first shot today.

RE: Montana Front Living question...does the bumper hit often

The floor plan would have nothing to do with it. It's a level issue. Lifted truck or hitch height issue.

RE: Suggestions for rest of Florida trip in Feb

The area between St Augustine and Stuart has many nice areas to while away a week or so as you head south. The Ocala area is another great option. Someone mentioned Silver Spring State Park. I second that. You could head over to Fort Clinch state park on Amelia Island as you start to head home. There is a great GA state park in St Mary's GA, or hit Savannah. Lots to do there. Jekyll Island is along that area as well but tough to get into. Charleston will keep you busy for a while, or Myrtle Beach. Have a great trip.

RE: Apocalypse almost

For the past many years only drug dealers and marital cheaters used pay phones. Vandalism played a part as well.

RE: Do any hotels/chains offer RV spots with electric or hookups

I remember one along 301 down thru VA between Fredericksburg and Richmond but not sure if it's still there. Motel style with a CG behind it.

RE: That’s A Bunch Of Grass!

The truck may not be overloaded. Maybe somebody who knows about hay can tell us how much that load ought to weigh. Wet or dry?

RE: Do any hotels/chains offer RV spots with electric or hookups

The closest I've seen is motels in areas around large fishing tournament lakes have a electric hook-ups for folks in the tournaments to charge their boat trolling motor batteries. Yep we have also, they also use them to run the bait well pumps. Another place is big box store lots as long as they don't have no overnight parking signs. The bases of the lot lights often have outlets. Just be darn sure to check the voltage before plugging in.

RE: Another Ford that needs to be bagged - or a dually?

The truck bed is so short a slider would run the back of the pin box thru the tailgate. I can see most of the pin box, it is either on the axle or inches ahead as others have stated. As to the heritage and body parts of the owners to each their own. A pic would be nice to confirm. :)

RE: SD Address, yay or nay?

All states are going to get their money one way or the other. Taxes are like hand cuffs. The more you struggle the tighter they make them.

RE: New Wriinkle in Customer Service

It seems fair that they gave you a remote customer service rep as you were needing help on a remote device. :) The rooster cracked me up. Great story to share for years.
