RE: Tight turn across narrow culvert?

It's a private road in rural eastern NC. Nobody will care as long as drainage is not compromised.

RE: Tight turn across narrow culvert?

Culverts and fill are cheap. That's pretty low ground there. When the next hurricane comes do you really want to have issues getting the rig out of there?

RE: Where have all the members gone on this forum?

I'll keep coming here every day. If only for Dougrainer, Old Biscuits, and many others knowledge and help.
There are a lot of idiots in the world and I have gotten kinder in my older years and just pass by when the OP exhibits that.
Another factor is that friends banter and that doesn't transfer to the written word. The younger crowd get's all rear end hurt and runs to their room for a good cry.
My sister in law has a great response to folks in that regard. Suck it up buttercup!

RE: Unhooked for the night.

90 miles an hour down a back road will likely end in a second emergency that may involve an innocent. Don't do it.

RE: Electrical question

The few times I've had a pedestal issue in our 25 years of RVing I've called or visited the office and it was fixed in 15 minutes. Maybe try that next time.

RE: Stealth Camping Tennessee

He'd have made a fortune on YouTube. Here is an interview but the host needs a few pointers on positioning people. I can't get it to start at the beginning but you can slide it back.

RE: Point to ponder, hornets nest stir

I'm reading that that sales person said the right thing,it all depends on the truck.
I'm a pre def diesel guy with a 05 Ram dually due to my 5er weights. When Ram beefed up the frame in 2010 a 3500 single wheel would handle my needs. If I find the right one I'll move up. A DPF doesn't bother me but no way I'm doing DEF. Cummins started DEF in 13 IIRC. Also you get a real crew cab starting in 2010, although the quad cab is sufficient room wise.
My 05 dually has a rear axle rating of 9350 lbs when a 3500 single wheel in the same configuration is 6010 IIRC. Starting in 2010 the SRW goes up to about 6500 lbs and that gets me to a single wheel. I sure would like to lose those hips, the fuel penalty of 6 wheels, and the price of tires at 50% more per set.
I've been on more than one CAT scale and did the Escapees smart weigh. I know my weights.

RE: That settles that.

I'd be curious if GM will allow the sticker bump on their financing at 0%.
All of the previous manufacturers 0% sales programs had the caveat that you had to pay sticker, no discount.

RE: You tube Fulltimers getting squeezed

Most of the YouTuber's are so boring that they could put the sleep aid industry out of business.
I will watch some of the technical and auto/RV repair channels if the content applies to me. Also a few of the RV travel channels, Keep Your Daydream and Changing Lanes. They both do a great job of showing what destinations we are interested in are like.

RE: Do you unhook for the night?

Yes, I wish I could access our bed and salon without slides. I'm not sure what that has to do with unhitching.
I would say it's inferred in this instance.

Lower prices in Kansas. Somebody tell Ron White, he could have a field day with that as a follow up to a previous skit.

RE: Self adhesive shower grab bar needed

Is the shower involved big enough to allow a walker to be used? I can't speak for the OP's unit but in our 5er none of the shower' walls would support a grab bar.
Maybe a rod across the top of the enclosure as long as it was low enough to reach.

RE: What's up with CGs?

The state that they are in may restrict evictions without cause. This just covers their collective behinds. I'm OK with it.
