RE: Brown stuff in compartment in new trailer

Yeah. Probably. I did do a review on wednesday and didn't see it. I picked it up today and all we did was hitch the trailer and I left. I noticed when I got to my parking spot.

RE: Must Have Boondocking Items?

Any thoughts on the 211vdbx? I just bought one. I’m staying on some land near the dealer for now while I learn the ropes but will eventually go up into lassen forest once the fires are out.

Brown stuff in compartment in new trailer

Don’t know what it is. Brand new trailer and there’s some brown gunk. Looks like a spilled chocolate milkshake. It’s not poop because I haven’t pooped in it yet and it didn’t smell. Any ideas? I will post photo tomorrow.

RE: Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

Yeah I’m thinking of a tiny home or something that would qualify as a dwelling.

RE: Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

Why are you trying to do this in a place that doesn't want you there? Go somewhere that welcomes people, not that wants to punish you for living. I'm just trying to see if its even feasible to do what I want. The problem is I'm going through a divorce and two households in SF Bay Area are not in the cards on our salaries, so I need to find out something long term for myself. If I move far away then I'll never see my kids.

RE: Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

The rule is you have to clear the tanks every 17 days. Or have to have septic/water hookups. I think its cheaper to actually buy 3 lots than 3 trailers.

RE: Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

Yeah they can evict you from your own land apparently. California is such a pathetic state ruled by overlords who created this whole mess I'm in.

RE: Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

Could you put up a pole barn to run utilities to, hide yourself and RV inside? I mean its 9 acres so I doubt that would even be necessary. I'm just not sure how much is accessible from the road for an RV so its possible neighbors or road traffic might notice.

RE: Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

So I heard back from Lassen County and they told me in the state of california you are not allowed to live in an RV unless its at an RV park. lol When I asked how many days I can stay in my RV on my property she had no number for me and just said for A-1 zoning its not allowed to live in an RV.

Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County

Living full time on my land in Plumas or Lassen County (CA/USA) So I was thinking of buying an acre of land and parking my RV there and living in it, however in Plumas County, they only let you dwell in an RV for 120 days a year. I have not heard back from Lassen County as I asked their planner the same thing but they had to call me back with an answer. My plan was to live there while I save for a custom home to be built (probably take me 2-3 years). But now it doesn't look like that's a possibility. Does anyone have any solutions or creative ideas? I was considering buying 2 other small parcels in the area so I could just move around 120 days at each...but I don't know if the 120 days limitation is county wide or just in one location.

2021 Grand Cherokee?

Has anyone towed a TT with a 2021 GC? The site says 6200 lbs for towing, I'm wondering what kind of trailer I should buy.

RE: F150 Lightening

There's a good podcast on crowdcast.fm that just talks about the F150 Lightning and whether it will pull a trailer. The general gist of it was that the range is 300miles and with a trailer it would be 150miles.
