2021 Forest River Heritage Glen 338BAR

Didn't notice it when I did the walk through but climbed up on the roof the other day and noticed I only have 2 vent stacks. I have the 2 grays and a black tank. Is this the new norm or should I demand another stack?

Louisville, KY to Bangor Maine

Google is suggesting 3 routes: Looks like there is about 30 miles and 7 minutes differences. Looks like one is I70 One is I80 One is I90. It also says all 3 have tolls. Thoughts on which one is best? Thanks

Are you asking about Nuevo Progreso? That place is full of good Dentists. I am a Winter Texan in Weslaco and I have lots of friends that have gone to multiple Dentists over in Progreso and I believe we have all been happy with whomever we choose. Progreso Dentists Good luck.

You aren't in Texas are you? Same thing happened last week in the park I'm currently in. If this is you I would be happy to help.

RE: Any RV parks left in RGV?

One week to go and I will have completed my 3rd winter here and signed up for next year. We have the Mobile Home Section and the RV Park which is separate. I have a 40 foot 5th wheel and I could park my truck in front of it but the sites are wide enough I park to the left of my rig. All kind of activities but none this year because of Covid. Now we did have Happy Hour just about every day. 20 miles or so to the east of McAllen over in Weslaco. 5 miles or so from Progreso Mexico. Ranchero Village

RE: "The Ark" near Williamstown,KY

I don't think you will find what you are looking for. You might want to consider having the others stay in a nearby motel. Two RV parks.25 miles away in Georgetown, KY 35 miles away in Lexington, KY

RE: Looking for Temporary Parking

Back in 2017 we found a Motel that offered Truck parking and they allowed us to park free for a week while we were on a cruise. We booked a room the night before the cruise.

RE: How long do you drive/tow in a day?

Back in February we did 535 miles in one day but I don't recommend it. The 2nd day we did 407 miles before we finished up doing 228 miles on the 3rd day. We are both 72. We've done the route many times and knew where we were going and what to expect when we got there. Normally though we break the trip up like: 228 the first day, 258 the 2nd day, 394 the 3rd day and finally the last day is 276 miles.

RE: HarvestHost......anyone using it?

I haven't found any campgrounds that charge less than $35 a night, the last place I stayed at wanted $60 for the night. I've been a member of Harvest Hosts for over 6 years and never felt pressured to buy anything, that being said I do drink wine so I usually by at east 2 bottles. Once we just did the wine tasting for $10, 5 each. Once they let us do the wine tasting for free because we were members of HH. I've never had a bad experience and would rather stay at a HH rather than a campground. Downfall to HH's is usually no dump stations or free wifi or electric. They do have some of the prettiest locations that we have ever seen. We are also members of boondockerswelcome, com

RE: Texas coast winter stay

valhalla360 I couldn't reply to your post, kept getting Invalid Formatting We spend 14 winters in Rockport before heading down to Weslaco. Because of Covid our start this year has been delayed. Ordered anew 5th wheel the first week of Oct but the production line was shut down until the first week of this year. Dealer called me Monday and said it was on the lot and wanted to know when I would like to pick it up so I told him I would be up there tomorrow. We need about 2 weeks to get ready to leave, wanted to spend a week over at the State Park on Mustang Island but everything was booked solid, however I was able to get 5 days (wanted a few more) over at Goose Island State Park.

RE: Texas coast winter stay

I would suggest the Corpus Christi area and if I could afford it I would stay here but I Can't Afford it.. Down the road about 5 miles and a more reasonable price is This One. Both of the above parks are as close to the beach as you can get plus both have bay water close by for the kayaks. I wasn't allowed to post the link because of a formatting problem however I would do a Google search with the following words. Port Aransas RV Parks. Any of those parks should work for you.
