RE: Refrigerator

I am glad you noticed my limited grasp of the English language. I do as well as I can considering my 8th grade education. As awful as it sounds it’s all I ever got. Hope I helped the OP

RE: Refrigerator

I got a kit that contained the valve, igniter, and the burner it’s self. Problem cured.

RE: I need a toad.

Buy a dolly and tow any front wheel drive only vehicle. We have towed our 2018 CRV, Toyota Camry, and 2014 Smart car. Mostly the Smart. Easy to use and is so much more versatile.

RE: The GEO Method and Space Heaters - Thoughts?

I have a DP and spent a week at pigeon forge and this past weekend, 3 days, at a racing event. I ran the hot water heater, cooked on the cook top, and ran the furnace all the time and it cost me less than $40 to refill the propane tank today. At both events it was colder than what you mention. I am not going to be uncomfortable, miserable, to save $40.

RE: Tire chains in Califdrnia

That must be what those funny looking things hanging in my barn are that go around the wheels----CHAINS. In all my skiing days I have never used them but suspected that was what they were for.

RE: Route Planning Question

Ok. Today I came to Baltimore. While still in NC I saw a friends son going up I 85 also I waved as I passed and he fell in behind, followed me onto I 495, then Rt 50 then MD Rt 3. His GPS had taken him this way but since he was going to upstate NJ he should have stayed on I 95. I got him pointed in the right direction but his travel time increased 2 + hours. A look at a map would have prevented this mistake.

RE: Route Planning Question

And for those that have never been where there is “no service” I suppose the answers above are fine. For me I’ll still use paper. I probably drive recreationally more than most and am also older than most. I am also technically challenged.

RE: Route Planning Question

I use an old fashioned road map! First time we went to Pigeon Forge TN my DW insisted on using GPS and ended up on a narrow crooked road with tree limbs rubbing the sides of the DP. I later looked at a map and 1 mile up the road and it was a straight shot in. GPS is sometimes helpful but for an old guy like me the map never fails. I was driving coast to coast before there were any interstates or 4 lane roads let alone GPS or IPhones.

RE: Likely to regret

For a few years I had a 45ft DP and pulled a 30ft enclosed behind it all over the country. It to got a lot of looks but with 500hp never held anyone up going up hill and you won't either. Found places to park, got fuel. You go for it but I now have a 36ft DP and tow a Smart car on a dolly at almost 82 years old. Have fun on your run!

RE: I40 south

I am going the other direction in the morning from Durham. I have made that trip several times with a 40ft DP towing a car with no problems. Just pay attention going down Black Mountain.

RE: Is Playa del Carmen and Majahual safe

I admire your son. I am 81 years old and for 2 years 15 to 17 I hitch hiked all over the USA and Northern Mexico with no plan and no money. I was young and DUMB but never had a major problem. Times have changed but like someone else said, where is it safe? He!! I took my wife and Daughter to Siagon in 1966 to work, how dumb was that?

RE: If your going to ask for help then you should ************

And how many times do you ask a question and come back 2 days later and it is gone who knows where. This has happened to me more than once.
