Thanks for the info though.

RE: Alignment shop

I am on the final leg of my 6000 plus mile trip. I have not noticed any noticeable uneven wear at the two suspect wheel locations so far. But will measure closely when we get home.
In 17 years of towing tons of miles I have yet to experience any alignment issues not caused by worn hangers. If I do have an issue it will most likely be two wheel positions on different axles that are out of spec for camber. How is that corrected, or is it replace both axles?

RE: Alignment shop

Did tire pictures get taken to help the shop diagnose the wear issues?
I know I took pictures of the codes on the sidewall, not sure about the wear pattern. But not to worry, once I return, if it is an alignment issue and not a defect they will have a fresh sample.

RE: Alignment shop

I take my 5th wheel to Arizona Spring on Grant in Tucson. They do my wheel bearings and check the alignment They had to repair the alignment once. Fair price.
Thanks, if I have a repeat of the wear when I get back I’ll look them up.

RE: Alignment shop

Corvette Kent. The 5er is only in its second season, but wet bolts are on the short list soon.

RE: Alignment shop

CA Traveler I was not familiar with the term river wear. After looking into it my tires were something in between river wear and shoulder step wear. Both have no correction steps listed. So I may be alright. I have 2 new tires to replace the worn ones and will watch them close.
I put the new ones on in OK city and I am now in Pa and head back west next week. We shall see what transpires.
Thanks

Alignment shop

Seeing some uneven tire wear on right front and left rear tires. Both Goodyears and about 7;000 miles. Other two look normal. Replaced the two worn ones and watching closely. Looking to have axle alignment checked in Green Valley/Tucson area. Any recommendations ?

RE: Converter/Charger Questions.

Lots of thanks for the tons of info in the replies.
I have been trying to find a Progressive Dynamics convert/charger to replace the WFCO WF 9855 that came with my 5er.
I can't seem to find a 55 amp like my WFCO unit. (A plug in floor mount).
I can find a 60 amp one though. Would that b a close enough match ?

Converter/Charger Questions.

I have a one year old rig and thinking of replacing my WCO converter, or at least have a spare. Last season the stock unit quit charging for a day and started working again the next day. So confidence is low.
So shopping for a replacement but also thinking of upgrading the 2 6 volt batteries to Li batteries in the near future.
My questions are around the recharging.
My solar has a setting for Li so that should be good to go.
The truck is a 2020 Diesel bone stock ???
The stand alone converter/charger is a WCO and the amp rating is forgotten right now but I will be getting it before I purchase a replacement. I would expect I need to get a converter/charger that is LI compatible is that a correct assumption?

Yosemite...how early?

We hoping to get to Yosemite this year and wonder how early in the spring can we go and now be driving on a lot of snow. I understand the variability of weather but in a normal winter/spring) A few light snow showers are fine just not wanting to be on the white stuff.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Yosemite questions

Starting to plan a quick trip that includes Yosemite NP and I would like some input about the area. I’ll be coming from Green Valley AZ.
1. Right now I am thinking early September, any thoughts about this time of year.
2. Staying on the east side vs west entrance ?
Thanks in advance for any input.
