I-610 Around Houston

We need to go north from Galveston to Arkansas. I saw I-610 which is NOT a toll road so am thinking that would be an okay route to take to get us past Houston. We will be traveling on a Saturday. Anyone have any thoughts on that route? Thanks Additional Info: We are just going north from Galveston and want to connect with an Interstate. We can take the loop around Dallas and also around Kansas City. Other than that we seem to be doing a lot of zig zagging.

Texas FM170 Lajitas to Presidio

We have a 45 ft diesel pusher and are currently in Lajitas, TX at the Maverick Ranch RV Resort. It is really nice. My question is about driving our rig, towing a Jeep from Lajitas to Presidio to pick up US-67. Thanks

Cummins Fuel Rail Recall

Has anyone taken their motorhome in to get the recall addressed? There was another forum where many stated they were going to keep an eye on the fuel rail for leaks and then take their rig in. Supposedly it affects 1% of the units. As a full timer I would love to live in our coach versus always taking it in for various things.

RE: Best route from Salt Lake City to Jackson, WY

We did Brigham City to Alpine. We took I-15 to US30 to ID34 to US89. We then took US89 to get to Cody, which took us right through Jackson. It was good route. We have a 45-ft diesel pusher towing a Jeep. Jackson is busy so if you are camping on the north side of Jackson, look for the truck route which is a left on Millward. That helps you avoid the nutty, crowded traffic in the middle of Jackson. I know we started our trek north of SLC but the route we took was good (for leaving Brigham City).

US 26 from Moran to Dubois

We need to get from Alpine, WY to Cody, WY. I noticed a long route that would take us-89 to US-191 to US-26 to US-20 to WY-120 into Cody. Is there anything we should be cautious about taking that route? We are a 45 ft coach towing.

ID-34 from McCammon to Alpine

We are going from Brigham City to Alpine, WY. We are driving a 45-ft Class A towing a Jeep. Are there any size or weight restrictions on US-30 and ID-34 from McCammon to Alpine?? In addition, if you have a recommendation on a route I would be interested.

Al[pine WY to Cody WY

What route would you recommend for a 45 ft Diesel pusher towing a Jeep going from Alpine WY to Cody WY. I have choice of: US-89 ==> to US-191 ==> US-20 ==> US-40 or US-26 ==> US-20 ==> US-191 ==> US-14 Shortest is the first route and seems to be the most direct BUT I do not want to get on roads that will be horrible to drive. THX

Driving to Alpine, WY

I will be in Brigham City at the KOA there. Our next stop is Alpine, WY at the Alpine Valley RV Resort (new). I was going to go I-15 ==> US-30 ==> ID-34 ==> US-89. Is that ok for a 45 ft coach towing a Jeep? Has anyone traveled on US-89 the whole way? It is a two lane road the whole way so I am not sure about that.

Route from Phoenix to Florida

Hi - I see that Google offers two routes to get to the panhandle of Florida. One is I-10 through both San Antonio and Houston. The second is to take I-20 through Dallas. I would love to go through Dallas versus the other two cities. Any thoughts why Google and Road Trippers for that matter prefer the I-10 route? Thanks

TX-146 to Avoid Houston

We will be coming from FL to end up in Galveston. We want to avoid going through Houston. I see that the TX-146 will take us on a route that "appears" ok. Can anyone comment on exiting I-10 at the Tx-146 and driving that all the way to Galveston (Jamaica Beach). THX
