RE: How to REMOVE brake drum races using a shop press?

I do like @eHoefler said and quick welding bead and they almost or do fall out when the weld cools and shrinks the race.

RE: 5th wheel front tripod

I had one given to me and I couldn't tell any difference with or without. It was just one more thing to do when setting up and breaking camp.

RE: Memphis to Branson

Bass pro is only just up 65 at Springfield with a super wildlife museum only 30 miles or so from Branson. There is a River Boat on Table Rock lake called the Branson Belle with a good show and nice meal. There is Dogwood Canyon that is a nice scenic tram ride or a leisural stroll. Lots of shows on the strip. There is Top of the Rock that has a great resturant and a guided tour that is a beautiful place. Also has a great course if you play golf. Below the dam at Table Rock is the trout hatchery and at the state park is a great little museum with the history of the area and the lake. Lots more if you look around while you're there.

RE: Zion in winter, the good, the bad and the ugly!

Wow! What an adventure. Hope your wife heals quickly and all turns out good. Thank goodness the Ranger/EMT was there to help and get you headed in the right direction for medical care.

RE: Custer State Park Sylvan lake 32’ tt

Custer's Gulch is right outside the park and is an excellent private park. We stayed there a couple years ago and the sites were large and open with easy access. Also, had some pull thrus. Very nice, friendly staff.

RE: Piney Campground

Just a quick FYI we stayed at Hillman (on the north end) and Piney on the south end. We felt Piney was far superior. At the time of our visit Hillman shower houses were old and in need of some work. Hillman has more trees but our Dish Playmaker had to be moved several places to get service. At Piney one setup got us service.

We stayed there a couple years ago and it was very nice. Nice , large , level sites with easy access. Very clean campground with a very attentive staff. It was a real ,quite and relaxing place with good walking areas. Bath houses were clean and well maintained too.

RE: Help!

There is a good chance the pipe cut out when they cut the hole for the pipe to attach was left in the tank and is drifting over the outlet blocking it. An inspection camera would help solve your problem.

RE: Forest River Wildcat OR Grand Design Reflection...???

We went from an Outback Sydney edition to a 2016 GD Reflection 3030rls. It has been such a pleasant change. We love the 303rls it has fit us perfectly and normally we only heat with the fireplace and if it is below 35* we use a small electric heater, 20's we kick on the furnace. With cooling when 90's we start with both air units to cool down then go to one in the living area. It is ducted to the bedroom so it is whisper quiet in the bedroom for sleeping. We've had it 3 years and made several trips to Florida in the winter and stayed up to 6 weeks. Remind us of staying in an apartment. We could not be happier. Even better we could sell it today for more than we paid for it.

RE: Is there a quiet water pump?

I had a noisy pump in a 5th wheel I had. The pump mounted to the floor so I added a rubber pad under it and I added an accumulator tank. It really quieted things down and at night the stool could be flushed several times without the pump coming on.

RE: Do They Make 5th Wheels Like This Anymore??

I had a 1987 Coachman Frolic 18' fifth wheel. I used it for hunting and 3d shoots for 12 years and it was so easy to use and handle. I flipped the axles and it weighed 3800# empty. It was great and I could take it anywhere . Just sold it 2 months ago and got more for it than I paid 12 years ago.
