RE: Septic Holding Tank that's portable?

Old-Biscuit has the right idea in terms of cost and usefulness "Buy a Flojet Portable Macerator Pump and a 3/4" garden hose in length needed to reach the cleanout Then Dump/pimp your Waste tanks...black then grey into the clean out"

RE: Onan Marquis Gold 5500 LP generator - Reviews ????

Since you probably have propane on 5th wheel this is a no brainer. Onan is top of the line. 200 hours on an Onan should e no problem assuming they demo it starting and running for awhile.

RE: Lynx Levelers -- 10-year warranty ?????

Based on what you say, this maybe the only option that will work for you. 1" inch thick steel plates Might be a little costly at first but will last longer than RV or you more increments in height adjustments My 2 cents worth

Camping world has a device to do what you want. Search on "No Mold Refrigerator Door Holder". Probably available from other sources.

RE: More water needed....

A couple of thoughts, back in the 70's I mounted a water tank in space under bench seat on one side of dinette. Another idea since you will only need while boondocking, how about a rack with tank that plugs into a trailer hitch receiver on back of motorhome. Minimize time weight is in tank. Fill it last chance before getting to camping area and use it first.

RE: Ham radios

I have been a HAM sine 1958. Got my license via a high school ham radio club. It is a great hobby, i have enjoyed it for years. I can not, would not, recommend it for guaranteed reliable use in an emergency. Someone mentioned a satellite phone option. I would recommend looking into that. It probably would be a great deal more reliable, I feel. That said Ham radio is a great hobby and backup for emergency situations.

RE: The worst Post Office in the USA... your vote

"the USPS handles in excess of 160-billion pieces of mail each year." Yes, I would guess most is junk mail ! !

RE: Daytona Beach Fl.

I would suggest a good starting point would be a web search on Daytona Beach. I just did that and it revealed some very interesting information, both good and bad. I have friends just south in New Smyrna Beach. They love the area.
