RE: AC Quits Blowing Cold after a few minutes

My guess would be the expansion valve needs to be replaced. Probably should replace the receiver/drier also.
This is the correct answer. Also make SURE you are not overcharging the unit, refill with the correct amount of R134 as per the manufacturer's instructions.

RE: Tire size

A 295/75R22.5 and a 275/80R22.5 are virtually the same size tire. Approximately a 1/4" difference in width and ride height. The 295/75 is a direct replacement for the 275/80. Go with the Continentals, they are just as good as the Michelins.

RE: 2022 Zephyr or Cornerstone - Which Should I Buy?

I agree, for that kind of money i would be looking for a used Newell, Marathon, or Liberty coach. Ten times better construction quality and driveability.

RE: Storage RV lot with GFIC breakers

Tell the owner to get off his dead *** and call an electrician to fix the problem. The problem is with the storage facility not having a sufficient electrical supply to carry the load.

RE: Door lock not working with either FOB

Your problem is probably the door electrical contacts on the door frame. Two small silver square contact plates. Clean then with alcohol, and retry the FOB's.

RE: Old laptop working after 24+ hrs of fiddling

... slow by modern standards but it works.
Now that it is stable, do a backup ! Write down he license number.
Find a "retail distribution" of your version of Windows. Feel free to over write he factory backup partition. You may have to manually install some drivers. Getting rid of "bloatware" makes a big difference.
Install a SSD ! You will be amazed at how fast it will runs.
Thanks but too much bother.
All bloatware is gone, temp, recycle etc all cleaned out.
It is what it is.
Also install as much RAM as the motherboard will take. You will be amazed at how much better the PC performs.

RE: Dish portable dish.

If you have a 2016 coach then the Winegard antenna should work with DISH Network.
What type of DISH receiver are you using? If it is a Wally has the firmware been updated to the latest version? When the receiver is hooked up to the antenna do you get anything on the TV screen?
I just take the Wally receiver from the bedroom and put it in the MH. Guy from Dish said to do that if we were not fulltiming now.
As usual the guy from DISH doesn't know **** about RV applications. When you hook up the Wally in the RV do you see the menu screen on the TV? If so do a factory reset, then try to get it to receive through the Winegard antenna.

RE: Dish portable dish.

Since you have a 2008 model coach the Winegard antenna is not set up to receive the latest DISH Network 8PSK transmission coding and cannot be updated. A new portable will work, I would recommend the Winegard Pathway X2. It is the only portable antenna that can receive both DISH Network western arc and eastern arc satellites.

RE: Satellite Dish question

First of all DISH Network was incorrect that that antenna will not work with their system. I have a Winegard RoadTrip Mission antenna that works with DISH Network and it was manufactured in July 2012. As a general rule any RoadTrip antenna produced after 06/2012 will work with DISH and some produced before that date will work. There is no way to tell exactly with out trying it out. As previously stated the Roadtrip will work with DirecTV in standard definition only. If you get a Wally receiver the first thing to do is to update the firmware using an open face 3 lnb antenna setup instead of trying to do it on your dome antenna.

RE: Safety Steer-plus

Have you had your coach weighed and set the tire pressures according to the tire manufacturer load/pressure chart? You would be amazed how many handling issues that corrects.

The RV Demand Continues

From the Business JournalHome
Travel
A major RV maker now has more than $18 billion in backlogged orders and says its dealers may not be fully restocked until 2023
RV maker Thor Industries has a $18.07 billion order backlog.
Demand for RVs has remained strong since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
CEO Bob Martin says it may continue restocking its dealerships into 2023.
Famed RV maker Thor Industries now has an $18.07 billion order backlog as of October 31 as demand for tiny homes on wheels continues to remain strong through the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said in its 2022 first-quarter earnings report on December 8.
Thor Industries — which owns brands like Jayco and Airstream — first saw rising sales in May and June of 2020, especially from first-time RVers, Bob Martin, Thor's president and CEO, told Insider in May 2020. Since then, interest has yet to taper off: The RV maker achieved $3.96 billion in net sales in the first quarter of 2022, a 56% increase compared to the same time last year.
Thor has now reported record net sales for three successive quarters despite labor, cost, and supply chain "challenges," which it predicts it'll still continue to face, Martin said in the earnings report. However, the RV maker has been "pretty much sold out for the next year" as dealers have "virtually no inventory," Martin told CNBC's Jim Cramer on "Mad Money" in June.
"Independent dealer sentiment remains positive and consumer demand for our RV products remains strong," Martin said in the earnings report. "The dealer restocking process will still take a number of quarters to complete and could possibly extend into calendar 2023."
To alleviate this backlog, Thor Industries acquired Airxcel, an RV parts manufacturer. Martin called this acquisition a "key piece" in Thor's efforts to bolster its supply chain.

RE: another Bev RV

Any time you see a mileage figure on an electric vehicle see if they give you any average speed figures to accomplish that mileage. You might be surprised that most electric vehicle mileage range figures are driven at 28 to 32 MPH flat and level. If you drive it at 65 MPH the mileage range is cut in half or more.

RE: has Forest River upgraded their furniture covering

Was the change from Mastercraft to Flexsteel an improvement or a lateral?
Couldn't be an improvement since Flexsteel is no longer in the RV furniture business due to their crappy materials.
