RE: Where has Executive been?

I thought I’d read a recent post by him (not on here) but I cannot find it. March was the last post in his blog at: https://executive45pbq.blogspot.com/?m=1 His last activity on IRV2 was 08/02/2021. I don’t think he’s been banned on IRV2 like me. Lmao me too. Well at least I’m in good company :B

RE: Tow bar options & instillation advice

After having my POS Blue OX true center fail and no help from them I would never purchase anything Blue OX again. Just got a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid and used all Roadmaster purchased from etrailer.

RE: Foggy Window Repair

I used a digital calibrator and measured a number of places and it’s .55 so just over a 1/2 and my glass is 1/8. My windows were re done before I purchased I’m wondering if they used the wrong spacer looks like they used 1/4 that got me thinking thats why the windows are so hard to open and maybe trying the 3/16. I seriously can only open my windows about six inches

RE: Foggy Window Repair

Yes thanks I’m going with all crl products. I don’t believe my windows are etched just foggy. My windows are very hard to slide and was thinking of going with a 3/16 spacer.

Foggy Window Repair

I’m going to a DIY repair on a couple of my windows. Trying to decide on using putty tape or foam. I had one window out a few years ago and used putty tape. Also any tips on this type of repair

Just put Firestone FS561’s on this year so far very pleased with them. They replaced 10 year old Samson’s that were a great tire.

RE: Brake buddy- No action when i push brake

You have to be driving for the system to work, it works on G forces. So the harder you stop the harder the brakes engage. If you just coast to a stop with your foot in the brake it won’t actuate. This,^^^ I bought the same unit, and if no motion in vehicle is sensed, no braking is needed or applied. x2 on how it works. Throw it on the passenger floor of towed and take it for a ride.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

My apologies to everyone. I'll do better. Spreadsheet up date for tonight. I have 2 updates that I haven't entered, and it's been a few weeks. First is the string Led's that I bought on Amazon to try out. Those will be used, and I may have to get more, not sure at this point yet. They amounted to $31.76. Also, I had to purchase another piece of 3/4" plywood to finish the framing for the last 4 drawers that I built. That amounted to $62.52. That's a total of $94.28. Our prior grand total was $11,142.10 and with this extra we are now sitting at $11,236.38. Im sure its here somewere but does this include the purchse price of the rv or just rehab.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

Hope you are having a great Holiday weekend. Ours started off a little rough. We made a big pot of Chili, figuring we would have leftovers for a couple of days. We used some dried kidney beans, which we soaked overnight, rinsed, and instead of cooking them, we just put them in the Chili mix in the slow cooker. Fast forward 8 hours, and it's time to eat. Low and behold, the beans are not soft, but still faily "chewey". Undeterred, we ate the Chili anyway. Eating the beans was a little like eating Brocolli, which was steamed very minimally, and still crunchy inside. Evidently, eating not fully cooked kidney beans is not recommended for our bodies. Both of our intestinal tracts have become fully cleaned out, over a period of hours, and as such neither one of us is now full of ****, (excrement). So, perhaps tomorrow will be off to a better start for the week.! :) Have a great rest of the weekend, folks. What brand crock pot do you use and how many quart?

RE: Towing Disaster-AAA

I keep telling people of this forum..COACH-NET can't be beat. 877-801-0333 Have used them many times without any problems for my truck and 5er. Sorry but after hearing this on the forum I switched from GS to CN. Coach Net sucks. Stranded hugging the white break down lane line for over 8 hours.

RE: Anyone install base plate on 2020 Escape hybrid

Nice job Mike, which model Escape did you get the gas version or the hybrid. I was looking at the hybrid and plug in hybrid which are towable also. Hey Gary how you been? I ended up with a 2020 Titanium Hybrid. I must admit I kinda miss my Wrangler but the technology and fuel mileage is much better. I really like my sons 2021 Rav4 Hybrid if it were towable I would have got one.

RE: Quick connect LP fitting won't work with standard gas grill?

I have a large three burner camp chef stove. I removed the regulator on stove added a quick disconnect. Then added a tee with a valve and disconnect on my rv propane after the regulator. Works great no more lugging around a 10gal propane tank. https://i.imgur.com/cRazfdDl.jpg

RE: Blue Ox Tru Center

Ok Called Blue Ox they have no parts and they do not support the Tru Center. Called Decco lady was asking if I just called about the solenoid. Someone else just called looking for the same. They make them to order said she would put a rush on it maybe two weeks. I ordered two looks like the weak link. I personally will never buy anything Blue Ox after this pos Tru Center. Just picked up a new 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid that I need a base plate, trailer hitch and wire harness and down the line some sort of auxiliary brake and new tow bar. One thing for sure none of it will be from them. Well they discontinued it, so I can see why they would have no parts. its a good system. I wouldn't give up on them. Well base plate and wire harness installed. All Roadmaster parts. Most likely up grade my 18 year old brake buddy and Demco Aluminator tow bar with something Blue Ox doesn’t make.
