RE: Any issues having slides on both sides?

36-seasons total in a MH, 21-seasons with slides on both sides. we've never encountered a park, public or private, that restricts slides to just one slide. IMO this is a non-issue.

RE: help with outlets not working in 2019 pacearrow 36u

So if i had a bad GFI, would the NOT be working. I have plugged something into both GFI's and they both work yes, they would NOT be working if they were tripped. hence my theory that you have another GFCI somewhere.

RE: help with outlets not working in 2019 pacearrow 36u

frustrating, i know. i'll bet there's another GFCI outlet that you've either forgotten about or it's not in an obvious place. i had the same thing happen in a previous motorhome and finally found the tripped outlet in a basement storage compartment.

RE: Where is the ice maker water shut off valve?

you can just raise the bail to stop ice cubes from being made but that does not shut off the water,

RE: Windows 11 ..headaches..

second the notion of bluetooth speakers. or use two sets of wired speakers with an audio splitter coming out of the speaker jack into the splitter and then out from there to each set of speakers. personally i think the BT speakers are your best bet.

RE: Hooking up to water/sewer

When you have hook ups for water and sewer: 1)Do you hook up direct to the water system or fill your tanks and drain it down? 2) Do you leave the sewer valves open or closed? What is the best way for it to properly drain? usually, no. there has been the odd occssion where we've had to do that, usually when temps unexpectedly dip below freezing for an extended time. leave your valves closed until it's time to dump. two reasons: 1- leaving them open allows odors from the sewer to eacape through your "stink pipes" on the roof into the atmosphere. you and your neighbors won't appreciate that 2- more importantly, leaving the black tank valve open allows the liquid waste to drain leaving much of the solids behind which will, over time, completely dry and form a rock hard pile many of us refer to as a "black pyramid". that will drastically reduce the capacity of your tank. when that happens you'll likely need professional help to clear it. in extreme cases the pyramid will completely block the tank from draining causimg a backup into the RV. we saw that occur in Terre Haute one year. it was not pretty.

RE: Towing 5K # with a gasser

Anyone towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee (Trailhawk) with a gasser? My Jeep weighs almost 5k and was wondering how a Gas Class A would tow. Would be towing to the Denver area from Florida and up to Breckenridge Area numerous times. Son has just moved there. Thanks for any info. 1-what is your towbar rated to pull? 2-what is your hitch rated to pull 3-what is your MH's GVWR and GCWR? 4-are you overweight on either MH axle?

RE: Retirement and health care

...Will our reduced income help with supplemental costs? not sure what you mean but, you likely know, that Medicare will take care of 80% of approved charges. the other 20% is on you. there are supplemental plans that will cover most of the 20% but Plan F which covered 100% of the 20% is no longer available. you might also need/want a Plan D for prescriptions...more $. less $ if you take no or few meds but the more meds/the more serious meds the more $. you might be a good candidate for a Medicare Advantage plan (Medicare Part C). MA plans are managed care plans (all-in-one). they take care of whatever traditional medicare covers plus the 20% + some meds + some other perks. depending on your zip code you might get a $0 premium or even $ back (at least that's what the ads say). the downside for fulltimers, is getting help outside of your "home" zipcode. be sure to ask how that works...may be a huge problem or no problem at all but be sure to ask. good luck.

RE: Where to store through winter without much snow?

we live in metro Chicago and most years we head to AZ in early January. our experience has shown us that by the time we get to Memphis the odds of snow or even freezing temps is low. we usually de-winterize the water system in Memphis.

RE: Slide-out issue

Sounds like a weak solonoid so there should be leak evidence somewhere. Could be anywhere along the line. I had a leak inside one of my storage bays one time.
