RE: Deleting Book from Cloud

Dutch_12078: We haven't had these Iphones very long and are still in a learning stage. There probably is a way to look to see what's stored there. We'll keep playing around with our new phones. Thank goodness for grandkids. This stuff seems to come natural to them.:)

Coolmom42: Thanks for the info. If it's not a significant issue we just won't worry about it.

Deleting Book from Cloud

DW loves to read. She'll read a book from first page to last in one sitting. Recently, she downloaded a free book onto her Apple I-11 phone. When she finished she deleted the book. Then, we started wondering if would remain in the cloud. We don't want to use all her cloud storage on deleted books. How would one delete it from the cloud, if that's possible. Thanks.

RE: Moderna vaccine (Personal experiences)

DW and I both had sore arms after the first shot. (Moderna) Got the 2nd shot on a Friday, four weeks later. On Saturday both of us just pretty much laid around all day. Took naps. Nothing major, just blah feeling. Next day felt perfectly normal. Certainly nothing compared to being on a ventilator in a hospital ICU with no visitors allowed. Good friends had same results as us. Nothing major.

RE: Reservations in California

The privately owned RV park we stay in on the central coast frequently has restricted stays to a minimum of 14 days. Supposed to keep down on traveling, although during our last stay a couple of weeks ago management was allowing people who were just passing through to stay a couple of nights. Our kids had to cancel their stay with us over the New Years holidays because neither could take two weeks off. Being retired, it didn't effect our stay though. Like the others have said, call ahead to make sure you can find a place.

RE: Norton Security

Pconroy: After spending quite a bit of time today trying to figure out how to download MSE, I realized exactly what you said. Windows Defender is already there. Thanks,my friend.

Norton Security

HP has terminated their agreement with Norton to provide free protection for HP users. Would you suggest renewing the subscription or use one of the free downloads. If the free ones, which ones? Thanks FWIW, I've been trouble free with Norton.

RE: Rentals

Thanks, IAMICHABOD. I appreciate the comment. I saw on their website that they had a lot of positive reviews, but I wanted to see comments from people who I know are real RV'ers. Again, thanks.

Rentals

A friend wants to rent a trailer next summer. He's looking at a place called Outdoorsy.com. I told him I would ask on the rvnet forum to see if anyone is familiar with this company. It looks like the units are privately owned and people use this company to rent them out when they're not using them.

News Stations

I like to sit on a bench while the wife shops and play on my new I-phone. I would like some suggestions for some news stations I can download. I'm not extreme left, or right, but enjoy hearing different viewpoints. Basically, I like to read current events, not someone's interpretations of the events. Any suggestions. (the only one I have now is Google News, which leaves a lot to be desired)

RE: Yep....Gettin' older

Thanks AJR for the Costco post. I've been doing lots of research since I'm getting really tired of missing about half of my grandkids statements and have been impressed with the Costco reviews. Plus, they're about half or less than many "major" brands and have more favorable reviews. I'll be making an appointment after the first of the year.
