Solar panel part 2

Thanks for all the reply’s from first post. Suggested timer coming tomorrow. Fan came today partial sunny, panel showed 23v, hooked fan straight to panel and spun really fast, showing 9.7v. So, it would run, yes. Hurting motor, I don’t know. Think I now have more than what I initially though would be something simple. New renogy mppt 20a controller, group 24 deep cycle battery, timer, a pack of solar connectors and wire. Y’all bought any wire lately? 94 cents a frigging foot for 10 gauge stranded at Lowe’s.

RE: Solar panel

Op here. Ok, ordered a renogy mppt controller. As much $ as the panel. Had asked the question to renogy yesterday afternoon, got an email from them at 2:20 AM! Somebody works late, or another country.

RE: Solar panel

Greenhouse, only want fan to run when enough sun to run the fan. Fan says 5-8 amps, not enough in a 100W renogy panel to run that? 23v with a vmeter with nothing connected off back of panel.

Solar panel

Just got a 100w panel and want to run a 12v 80w radiator fan, NO BATTERY. The panel is cranking out 23v do I need to put a controller in the middle. All controllers I look at have a battery hookup between the panel and output.

Atlanta PD just arrested a guy going around punching holes in the bottom of tanks to steal gas.

Gooloo 1500a

I have subject jump start, and it indeed will jump a dead battery in a heart beat. BUT if I put a meter across the terminals I see no voltage, tried to use it to run a 12v diesel fuel pump, but nothing. It is Lithium , why can’t I see any voltage coming out?

RE: Sea Foam stabilizer

20 miles after using sea foam, I had a clogged o2 sensor. Just saying, it might work too good.

RE: Changing a tire yourself

For my 12 ton hyd jack, I got a piece of round steel pipe the diameter of the screw head on the jack. Cut 2” of it and cut a “V” notch on one end. Then a 4” piece of 2” angle, all thick wall. Welded the angle into the notch. This sits on the screw head of the jack. This gives a more solid surface for the jack to support the round axel, and not a chance to roll off. A 3/4” breaker bar, 6” extension and a 2’ piece of pipe for a cheater over the breaker bar. Used this combo a lot. For the MH and farm equipment. ‘

What is too hot

Using a tire minder, or any other tire pressure/temp monitor, what is too hot for a temp reading. Not looking for reason, low pressure sunny side or near exhaust etc. just what be considered too hot for a reading?

RE: How to carry blackstone griddle

OP again. No, I’m not talking about “gobs of grease”,just that tacky residue when you lightly apply when time to store. I currently keep it in a large black plastic garbage bag. I’m afraid that if I put it uncovered in the blackstone carry bag, it wouldn’t take long for the inside to get nasty as well.

How to carry blackstone griddle

I’m asking how do you wrap/store/contain the greasy top when you pack up to move on. I bought the 2 burner and wish now I’d gone with the smaller unit.
