RE: Just bought a new 5th wheel

That's the same camper we've been looking at. Our first grandbaby was born last fall and we're looking forward to take her (and her mom and dad) camping in the future. We also looked at the 311BHS but it doesn't have much seating in the living area.
How comfortable is the U-shaped dinette for general seating ? We were thinking that would be perfect for grandchildren craft projects on rainy days.
We are taking delivery of our 31MB in early April. I loved the layout but was exceptionally concerned about comfort of the dinette as there will be 4 of us and likely one or more in the dinette when stuck inside. We found it to be super comfortable (and huge) and put an order in right after that.
Congrats to the OP!

The rear dinette and large bunkroom were just a couple of the features in the 31MB that we liked. The dinette seems like a very comfortable place to sit, the table is stable and is very easy and fast to drop down into a sleeper. No more wrestling with folding or removeable legs. It's a great place to eat from but also perfect for sitting there with a laptop or just gazing out of the rear windows. I think it's the perfect layout for our situation.

Just bought a new 5th wheel

After looking at a lot of new 5th Wheels, we just bought a new 2021 Grand Design Reflection 31MB. We pick it up next week, just in time to fill it up with stuff for our first trip on March 5th. It's a relatively small 5th wheel with a mid-bunkroom and rear living area, but big enough for us and the grandkids.
We're not new to RVing but it's always exciting to get a new RV.
Wish us luck!

RE: Looking for mid bunkroom 5th wheel

Montana High Country 334/335BH has a rear bunk with a half bath and it's not much bigger than the one you're looking at. But it has less living space. The 31MB is a nice layout.

RE: Looking for mid bunkroom 5th wheel

Thanks, the Big Horn 39MB is a great layout but I'm afraid it's too much for my truck. I think I'd need a 1 ton dually for that rig. I think the Reflection 31MB is probably the best choice for us.

Looking for mid bunkroom 5th wheel

We are in the market for a new 5th wheel with a mid bunk room and rear living area. We like the Grand Design Reflection 31MB but would like to see other brands for comparison. I tow with a 2016 GMC 2500HD Duramax so I have limitations. Anyone have ideas on others we should consider?

RE: Does this combination work?

Did you ever purchase a Grand Design 31MB? I have a 2016 Ram 2500 Mega Cab Diesel and having the same debate as you right now.
Thank you!

Reflection 31mb owners?

Anyone out there own the Grand Design Reflection 31MB? It's a mid bunkroom model with rear living. We are considering this FW and wondered if anyone has ownership input or thoughts on this rig. For a mid bunkroom FW, it's fairly small when compared to other MB trailers but still has a nice roomy feel. Appreciate any opinions.

RE: Granddesign 31mb

I have been looking at a Granddesign 31MB. Any of you Granddesign owners have any ya's or na! What are your thought about an extented warranty? Thanks for your input.
We have a Grand Design 297RSTS for the last 2 years. So far very happy with it. Had a few issues that were either fixed by the dealer or by me. So far happy with the quality but I have heard that there are others who have had issues just like anything else you buy. One other thing is that Grand Design customer service is noted to be one of the best in the industry for helping out if there is an issue.
As for the extended warranty I would not get one. I read the fine print and basically they all have Wiesel words to let them get out of paying.

We love ours. 294 is RV fridge, 295 is residential. The front cap is actually a window so you get a lot of light and more views from the bedroom. We've had 3 trips so far, including 2 down some pretty bumpy/washboarded dirt roads and nothing major has broken :)

Does this combination work?

Hi all,
We are currently looking at getting our first fifth wheel, and I am trying to get my head around what trailers are feasible with our tow vehicle,
Our tow vehicle is:
2017 Ram 2500 Mega Cab
3.42 axle ratio
10,000 GVWR
1,950 payload
8,048 base weight (4,953 front, 3,095 rear)
6,000 front 6,500 rear GAWR
24,300 GCWR
14,770 max trailer weight
We have three kids, and I’d guess our passenger weight will be 700#
I’m hoping to pull this fifth wheel:
Grand Designs 31MB
9,778 UVW
11,995 GVWR
1,834 Hitch Weight
Is this feasible? Thanks for your advice.
