Wet heat and hurricanes are better than snow, ice, nor' easters,
and the occasional flood.
But'I'm not a winter person. YMMV

I live at about 4500 ft and mostly we have a good amount of wind when it’s hot. We make it ok without AC in our house, but it’s not very humid here. We just turn on the ceiling fans. In our TC, we usually used AC when our remodel was being done, and we were visiting.

Last day of work for a bit. Had a shooting at the Tyson plant,so they closed for a few days.
