All Brad Keslowski needed was an article to say he didn’t have a contract to win two races in a week. [emoticon] Probably won’t be at Penske next year.

IMO Penske has bigger problems than the one presented by Brad Keslowski.

The pandemic and it's effect on his worldwide business. At his age he may not see the final outcome. If anybody can get out of it OK it's the Captain.
Cloud was not slamming him in my opinion, just stating the issue.
I'll post the Automotive News article if they will let me.

They have their site well protected and I sure don't want a letter from a lawyer but here of the high lights from the May 18th edition.
Laid off half of total workforce including 5300 in the US.
Net income down 53% in the first quarter.
Stock dividends suspended.
Postponed $150 million in capital spending.
Froze hiring.
Executive pay slashed with $0 for Roger and president Robert Kernick.
They do have a nice size kitty in the bank and returned any Gov loans they received.
I sometimes forget how many car dealerships they own and that is where they got bit even as the market is coming back.
I hope he stays in Nascar but he might be saying Brad who? Joey who? Dave who? Along with all the staff and assets that go along with them. Is 75 million a year about right, or am I too low? Sponsors are skittish as well.

Also:
"Roger Penske assumed ownership of the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the IndyCar Series on Monday, completing a stunning acquisition that confirms Penske Corp. as the fourth owner in the Indy circuit's history. Penske, 82, bought the storied open-wheel racing properties from Hulman & Co.Jan 6, 2020"

It is just odd to see Kyle Busch in a suit trying to be a gentleman.

Though he is a 35 year old successful businessman with a 5 year old son. Just he still looks like a kid.

If Brad wants to sign the contract it's no problem for Penski. If Brad does not want to sign the contract it's no problem for Penski. Actually, it's Brad that has the problem.
