This is the bottom side, and you can see the wood being bent around the outside of the hole saw, while forced into the 2 x 4 partial hole.

I noticed on the hole saw, there were 4 slots around the outside of the saw.
Sooooo, I figured, since they are equal distance apart, after drilling the hole, I cut off the end of the 2 x 4 until I had 1/4 of the outside diameter in the wood.
I figured that would give me a right angle transition and should work just fine.

As it turns out, I should have kept just a touch more of the hole to bend the wood. It is very close, but as the old saying goes - no cigar. Lol.
Here you can see, it is close to a 90 degree angle, but not quite.

Adding a little piece of painters tape, with just a little pressure, and we are at 90 degrees. So basically, I will call this one a win.

I now know, I can bend wood around a 2 - 3/8" or 2.5" diameter object, so that should make things a little easier to bend the wood for the bottom of the sink edges.

Well, sometimes when you need to clamp a 2 x to something in order to work on it, the answer is directly in front of you.
Needed to cut a 2 x 3 so I just clamped it to the counter for a minute.

So, I put together the first of 2 sawhorses, well, sort of. I used the Kreg jig and glue to fasten the pieces together.
I plan on adding some hinges, and make these collapsible. Years ago, I made a pair similar to these, for a buddy who was racing a midget, and wanted them to fold, in order to take up less space when not in use.
Since I am using 2 x 3's, they will only be 3 inches thick when folded.

I kinda think they will be 4" thick when folded, am I not right????

A 2x3 is really only 1 1/2 by 2 1/2.

Any 2x lumber is only 1 1/2" on the narrow side. 2x3 is a nominal size and bares no resemblance to reality.

The answers are correct. Unfortunately, 2 x 3's are only 1.5" x 2.5". Years ago - actually before my time, they used to be an actual 2 x 3. When you look at lumber they show a Common Measurement which would be 2 x 3, and Industry standard, which is 1.5 x 2.5.
Plywood sometimes will be labeled as nominal and actual thickness, which are not the same. It's a bummer.
