I toggled mine on and off to test the difference and download stayed the same at 28mb download 30 up.

You will see the difference when you use fast.com as the speed checker. This is a Netflix product and will show you the speeds when you are viewing videos. If you use speedtest.net you won't see the difference.

While Screen Saver is "on", you can run fast.com and then speedtest.net and see a HUGE difference.

I initiated a Chat session with them from the Manage Data page and they turned it off manually.

Thanks, will try that!

Seems that some can and some can't. I wonder why the difference.

i tried, it said problem can't turn off

the Mobley account is my 'only' ATT device

maybe those users with cell phone lines or other services with ATT have better luck than us 'solo' types

I have T-Mobile which uses the same hardware.. THey ask me to review it .. I do not think they will be publishing my review (I will keep it till I can dump it but it very simply does not do what I want it to do, It won't even stay in the OBD port (I will fix that however).

T-Mobile's SyncUP Drive device is a ZTE Z6200s, and is NOT the same hardware as the Z4200 that AT&T's Mobley uses. They have different feature sets and different frequency/band coverages. Comparing them is an "apples/oranges" situation...

The Mobley/Connected Car plan was the only device/plan on my AT&T account when I turned off Streamsaver. I have my Mobley SIM installed in an AT&T Unite hotspot now, and Streamsaver stayed off.

Turned ours off yesterday with no problem. The Mobley is our only AT&T account. Chuck
