Do you run tires to wear marks before replacing?

Currently running 275 R70 18 Firestone Transforce HT on Dodge 3500 SRW w/Northern Light 10-2. Tires are approx half way to wear marks compared to new (spare).

Replace at minimum at the wear bars. But if they get the least bit squirrly in the wet dump em.

As Don said. Every make/model of tire could be different, traction handling. The summer tires for the CRV, with 50% tread left were scary slippery on damp roads when the temperature got down to 40•F. My dedicated winter tires have more traction on ice and snow

I ran a set until the rears were practically racing slicks. That truck didn't haul a load, it only towed. a LOT.

My TC doesn't have tires, but the cars that we drive do have negative camber, what wears inner sides faster than outer. Not driving in the rain, I let the inner sides to go bold before buying new tires.
On truck, where tires last 60-100,000 miles, they usually age faster than wear.

Depends on the tire, the reason and the season.
If you’ve made it thru this much of winter without tossing those tires in the garbage, then I’d run em til next winter or wore out, whichever comes first.
I burn through those OE Firestones for summer tires. In the snow, they are like trying to ice skate with your skate guards on!
