We purchased a new 2018 Coleman Lantern TT. It comes pre-wired and housing unit for a Furrion camera. I successfully paired the camera with the monitor; however, when I plug the camera into the pigtail at the back of the trailer there is no power. The blue led light does not come on. I checked everything possible including taking the marker light off and checking the connection to the light. I also used another pigtail and again no power.

Is it possible there is not enough voltage to power the camera? The marker lights are incandescent bulbs.

Thank you

Power for camera may come from marker light circuit on trailer. Hook up to TV and turn on park lights and see if camera powers up. You'll have to tow with your marker lights on day and night.

I don't believe the factory installs are connected to the marker lights. I believe they have their own circuit. Look for a blown fuse in the circuit box. The complaint I've heard about the Furrion cameras is that they are on whenever there is 12 volt power in the trailer. Which means battery drain while parked. Boondockers don't like that. Check the connection with a meter, just in case the camera is a dud.

I figured it out. I removed the center marker light just above the camera mount and inspected the wiring. The factory reversed the wiring it was not getting any juice. Once I switched the wired it powered up with no problem. I was happy to see that blue led illuminate.

That's great. You're manufacturer did it the right way. Now you just have to turn on the lights to get it power. I believe mine is one of the "all the time" connections. I'll have to check. We don't boondock, so it's not an issue with us. Mine is not Furrion, just a wired camera.
