A lady I went to high school with has had a disastrous accident in Baja. She was driven off the road and destroyed her RV which is also her home and all her possessions. Her 2 cats are missing. I don't know if it is appropriate to post this here. Delete it, if not. There is a gofund me page established to try and help her out

Always distressing to see things like thus. I presume that's her, sitting. The secreteria de Comnicacionea & Transportes insists on a fine for "damage to the road bed". Older RV no collision coverage. ****!

She does have insurance I think, but I imagine it will take time. The RV was older. Knowing her, she is probably really distressed about the pets. Whether they died in the wreck or wandered off into the desert is a mystery. That is her sitting, she was taken to hospital after.

So sad. Will take her a long time to get over this, financially and emotionally. And, losing her two pets has to be devasting.

is this for real? I mean IMHO I see a lot of stuff scattered around that could be wreckage of some sort but I don't see any tell tale indications that these are MH parts?

this looks like a scam.....just saying,,

Tequila I am really concerned about this.
Does she have friends or a fellow RV'er helping her?
Some (not all) police and ministerios publicos look at an accident like this and see $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Do you know the area of the accident? Where this occurred? From the landscape it suggests the municipio de Ensenada. A thousand peso reward for the cats would have entire pueblos turning out to search for her pets and no I do not mean a thousand pesos of her personal money.

I'm don't trust people much either as a rule, but I've seen accidents like this before look close you can make out the walls and I think it's the roof. I'm afraid unfortunately this is for real. I just hope that her cats wander back when she's at the wreckage. That's like losing family members.

Amazing that she is in one piece enough to be able to sit there, probably in shock wondering what to do next. There isn't any recognizable cab space remaining.
