I don't really follow the crypto much, but isn't it about the same as the barter system they had years ago? You did work for credits that you could use to get work done.

OK, think about this. Crypto-Ponzi in eight easy steps.

Open your wallet. Take out all your money. Buy Crypto-credits. Install credits into your wallet. Close wallet.

Drive to market. Open wallet. Whip out crypto-credits and see how many groceries you can buy.

How does this work? if I buy $1000 worth of bit coins, and the ponzi scheme shows it is now worth $10000, how do I get $10000 worth of cash, real money, out?
or do I have to find a RV seller who will take my bitcoins?

I can't speak for other methods, but I do some "play" investing with the Robinhood app. I had a small amount in Bitcoin for a period of time. Bought just like any other investment in the sense I told Robinhood how much money I wanted to invest and they executed the trade. I held it for a while and decided to sell. I told Robinhood I wanted to sell and they executed the trade. I made a little, but I only had a little invested. It is very volatile. If you don't have the stomach for that, stay away.

you'd probably be better off mining crypto. Basically provide a source for the transactions to take place and charge or collect a fee. I am using PI https://minepi.com/ so far no cost on my part. as yet no payoff either.

I truly think that cryptocurrencies - are our future main payment money, by paying for any kind of service.

Unfortunately, I’m not a bitcoin early adopter, but in my opinion now is the a great time to start buy bitcoin. Waiting isn’t an option if one wants to get the jump on a technology that will change society as we know it. To get started, read cryptocurrency blogs, watch cryptocurrency youtube channels, participate in crypto related forums and you will win.

You sound like a Bitcoin salesman ... and Bitcoin sounds like a empty-handed Pyramid scheme. Once it peaks, no one will buy it and the last buyers will hold a pair of deuces vs three Aces for the ones that sold.

I do believe we (at least in USA, if not the world) will eventually adopt a digital currency - we nearly do it now, thru our BANKS, which electronically hold and transfer every dollar we own. But, currency backed by a government guarantee is quite different than imaginary electrons 'you own' that could collapse in value OVERNIGHT with no recourse.
