LOL! Good point - back to those pasty-skinned, basement-living folks who won't last 1/2 hour in the desert.... "whaaaat? We have to WALK???"
^^^ This. LOL

I am compelled to say this because it is happening across the globe.

Divide and concur.

That is an old thought that is very relevant today when you think about the internet.

I suspect that was a reference to the kind of highly-polarizing posts one finds on Facebook and other social media?? I have read things that just make me cringe, they are so blatantly trying to provoke a fight - and yet in my real-world dealings, people are friendly, compassionate, and most are tolerant of beliefs other than their own.

I DO believe there are outside interests who would love to see our beautiful country torn apart from the inside. Fortunately, the best revenge is to ignore the trolls.

To tone down the "emotion" on this thread a little and add back some humor ...

I actually asked my colleagues at work if they wanted to participate in another "team spirit" outing. We do that sometimes, do different events. Everyone was in favor of another "outing" as a group. I then suggested we could all join the Area 51 movement and lock arms in comradery, and absolutely EVERYONE said, "no thank-you!"

Deb and Ed M have answered for me better than I could.

I will add the internet can be used for tremendous good or bad.

This entire thing is nothing more than a Facebook joke. Nobody is going out there, and if they do, they'll leave quickly or get arrested.

I agree with "arrested".

If shot ... then here's a repeat of my earlier comment in this discussion: If the Air Force would "kill a lot of citizens" over Area 51 perimeter intrusions, it would most likely mean that indeed there were things in there that they really didn't want the public to find out about. Things probably way more serious - if seen by Joe Blow - than funny shaped flying bodies made in the U.S., laser canons, ultra-low frequency sound guns, high power holographic projectors, microwave beam projectors, etc..

Some people act like anyone that gets through the gate is going to see something. Almost like they expect an alien aircraft to be under a tarp on the side of a hanger[emoticon]
